PLEASE READ MY REVIEW before you hit this place!
This is one of those restaurants that are so overrated in Glasgow!!! I don’t understand all the hype! We went last night (Christmas eve) and here is my feedback:
Ambiance: So bad! Any Italian place should be cozy and warm. The place was so bright and the interior design needs a lot of facelift and retouch! Tho it’s clean but please dim the lights!
Food: As shown in the pics, we ordered spaghetti bolognese on pizza and chicken gnocchi and they’re both good but not so yummy ! We also ordered two cocktails (passion breeze) which was very good! But the Prosecco Sangria was awful!
The bill came at £46 which is fair considering the big food portions.
The two ladies (waitresses) were nice and welcoming but the outfit should’ve been considered too.
Overall: 3/10
Not recommended and we won’t visit again!

Staff were all friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a warm and cosy atmosphere. Menu had great choices and plenty of options. Tried quite a few starters and they were all delicious. Chose the pizza pasta bowl for a main and this was very filling and delicious. We came as 2 couples so there were various selections. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we all left satisfied and full. Desert menu also available but had no room!! Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

Romanos is a fantastic find! The pizza was absolutely amazing – perfectly baked with a crisp, flavorful base and generous, high-quality toppings. Every bite was full of authentic taste and comfort.
But the real surprise was the pasta served inside the pizza base – and wow, what a brilliant idea! It was rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor, all wrapped in that delicious, golden crust. A fun and creative twist that totally worked.
Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and food that leaves you smiling. If you’re a pizza or pasta lover, Romanos is a must-visit!

I visited Romans Restaurant and tried their new Pizza Bowl with Pasta – it was absolutely delicious. The Lasagna Pasta was fabulous as well. The staff and chef are very humble, and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. A truly delightful dining experience – highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Needs improvement. The Garlic pasta bowl needs a lot more garlic as it tasted like plain dough, the carbonara was very nice and al dente, they need another waiter and abit more training as the service struggled with the 2 they had, a table left after ~10 minutes without service,my partner who had lasagna was offered parmasan which was forgotten and i asked for another drink after the first round which was also forgotten (notepads for the floor staff?), and it took ~ 10 minutes to get the attention of a waitress to ask for the bill and another 15 minutes to recieve it. There was a larger table (6-8) in back but most venues dedicate 1 waiter to larger tables to avoid it impacting the rest of the service.

Yes, the pizza dough bowls are hyped, and they almost deliver on it, but not with the amount of sauce your pasta gets. The food is still great, adequate service, and dessert was tasty.

place is nice, food is lovely, price is reasonable.
We made the mistake of bringing our baby, no baby change or disabled toiled. I get it, it’s a restaurant in city centre but accessibility should b a priority, what if a disabled customer had no access to a bathroom?
at the very least this should be noted on website where reservations are made as i stated we’d be bringing a pram.
otherwise lovely

Went on a Wednesday evening, was fairly quiet but all tables very close together. Service was not great, waited around 10-15 minutes before we got a menu. Went for the popular pasta in a pizza bowl option. The pasta itself was lovely. The pizza bowl is a nice touch and a little unusual. Whilst pleasant, it was really difficult to eat. No matter how hard you try, the simple table knife cannot cut it. This leaves you with the option of using your hard to tear pieces off. This works ok for the outside but the inside because a sludge of dough and pasta sauce. Nice to try but probably wouldn’t recommend. The pasta itself was nice though.
