Lively Italian chain with an open kitchen, known for small plates, pizzas, pastas & wine.

Macaroni Grill has become very ‘corporate’ in that a lot of the attention to detail has been lost to streamlining. For example, the bread may be pre-frozen before it’s baked, the silver isn’t as shiny as it used to be, our water glasses were served to us completely wet – on the outside.
The food was OK but of course, salty. It’s definitely lost its homemadeness if it ever had any.

Terrible! I was excited because I thought Macaroni Grill went out of business years ago, and we skipped going to Bonefish Grill to come here. We should have left when we noticed they were not busy on a Friday night. The hostess couldn’t process that we had 3 people, then sat us at a dirty table. The waitress brought out olive oil for the bread, but no bread, then came back to the table numerous times empty handed, before remembering to get our drinks, and each time said “Oh. I forgot your _____.” They were out of iced tea…….and the waitress went as far as to tell us they didn’t even have any to brew, after coming back to the table multiple times forgetting to bring ……well….anything. We finally got some bread to go with the olive oil, which was a bit greasy, but was the best part of the meal. I ordered the Chicken Scaloppine. It was ok….not great. My daughter ordered the Mushroom Ravioli (pictured). She couldn’t eat it and instead ate some of my meal. My husband had a steak, which came out not even warm. I tried to convince him to send it back, but he didn’t want to take the chance of what the kitchen might do if you send food back. He ate it, but i will be monitoring for food poisoning. We didn’t complain to the waitress, because after bringing the food, she never came back to the table until we asked for the check. I understand now why all other locations closed years ago. This one should be closed too.

Oh, Romano’s how we’ve missed you. It’s been 15 years since our locations in Minnesota shut down, and we’ve been trying for the last 6 or 7 to find an open one while on vacation to use our gift card and relive the nostalgia we had for one of our favorites when we were in our twenties. 3 times we have located a Romanos near our vacation destination and all 3 times they closed within a month or two of us arriving. Not this time! Although upon arrival it appeared to be closed. Not a single light illuminated the parking lot, building or sign. It was pitch black around the entire building. We almost left but noticed staff and a few tables occupied, so we went in. We were seated very quickly and ordered right away as we were excited to experience Romano’s again. There was maybe 4 or 5 other tables at 5:30pm on a Sunday night. Our waitress, while sweet and cheerful kept forgetting things, and would look at other staff while we were talking to her. Prices are high but we had that gift card and a couple of coupons. We ordered the calamari, penne rustica and kids chicken alfredo. We had to ask for the bread twice and when it came there was no oil so we had to ask for that too. It’s not the same bread as we had in the past and it wasn’t very good. The food was mediocre at best and not anywhere near the quality we remember. To top it off, they would not accept our coupons nor gift card, saying they had been bought out by another company. So much for a semi affordable night out. We had ordered a few extras we wouldn’t have had if we knew they wouldn’t take our gift card. The manager overheard our disappointment and knocked $5 bucks off, but our bill with tip was still $62. We took our leftovers back to the hotel and then proceeded to have the worst night of gas and diarrhea that evening. We should have kept our memories of this once great restaurant chain and skipped this sad excuse of a establishment. I would not be surprised if this location closes soon. Two stars for the nostalgia, the rest was a one star experience

The food here was amazing, everyone ordered something different. We were a party of six. The food that stood out was the salmon, the chicken scaloppine, the grilled chicken fettuccine, and the pollo caprese! The waitress was good, but a couple of people’s glasses did run empty before she was able to fill them. Although she was nice enough to split the bill for us!!!!

We enjoyed Christmas dinner here with my husband’s family and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the atmosphere was welcoming with tasteful décor and a very clean, well-kept dining area. While the appetizers took a bit longer to arrive, they were absolutely worth the wait, delicious and generously portioned. The main courses were also hearty and satisfying. The overall cost ended up being less than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise and made the experience even better.

First time going, absolutely love the food and the staff was phenomenal! I am gluten free, and this one of the best experiences I’ve had eating out. I asked for a sauce that I was unaware had gluten in it, and the waiter and chef came out to inform me of it and offered to make me some special without it. It was fantastic! Some of the most delicious pasta I have had. My partner was also very happy with his Mac and cheese. He said the bread was great!! I wish I got the chefs name, but him and our waiter Ken were amazing! Ken was super helpful and made sure we were all taken care of. Thanks so much! We will be returning!

Night 1 Katrina was out waitress. I think she may have been really new and may need additional training. We ordered a bottle of white wine and she first opened and poured a bottle of red realizing the error she took the red away and brought white which was room temperature. I asked if it was supposed to be chilled and she said no. I then asked for a chilled glass and ice which she brought. The bread came out after we were over halfway done with your meal. Food was good. Service poor. Honesty would have been acceptable if she didn’t know if the wine was supposed to be chilled but the level of confidence in her answer was courageous. We did return two nights later and Bonnie was our waitress and spot on 100% with Everything! She also gave two great meal recommendations that we otherwise would have never tried and they were delicious. The food and Bonnie are what dictated the 5 stars. Binnie needs a promotion!

The food was good, but the service was great. Our server Drea made us feel like family. We ordered Pomodoro Tortellaci which was good, and Truffle Mac & Cheese which was OK. We enjoyed our visit here and we’d be happy to return.

It was nice and quiet when we went. (2pm) We received outstanding service all the way around and tried several different appetizers and pasta dishes. All were beautifully presented!!!

Wonderful experience.
I’m vegetarian, and they were kind enough to modify their chicken marsala in order to make a vegetarian dish and that is what is pictured. It turned out quite delicious.
My friend had the Signature Truffle Mac & Cheese, and I tried it myself, and if I had a large enough stomach I would’ve also ordered one. Goodness gracious is that Mac and cheese good!!! But between my own vegetarian marsala, the antipasta pictured, and the bread, the tomato sol soup, it was actually a lot of food.
I definitely recommend this location.
Our servers name was Joe and he was incredibly courteous and is the one who recommended modification to any of the meat dishes that typically come with a side dish included (the pasta dishes don’t, and I really wanted to try one of their side dishes).
I had the cheesecake while my friend had the tiramisu. I eat a lot of cheesecake and can say this was quite good as well. The strawberry sauce was sweet but not like corn syrupy sweet, which I personally don’t like and Im glad it had a natural flavor to it.
