My wife and I are regular Sunday brunch diners and have tried just about every brunch spot in town. After a negative experience at a local restaurant the previous week we stopped in Macaroni Grill for lunch and were surprised to see a brunch menu so we naturally had to try it. The whole dinning experience was absolutely top notch for top to bottom. Our server, Chase, was extremely professional and attentive. He was warm and welcoming and honestly one of the best servers I’ve had the pleasure of being waited on by. The food was equally excellent. The chicken park eggs Benedict was especially good and unique. As we were dining the manager made a point to stop by and make sure we were having a great experience. I can’t say enough good about Macaroni Grill and it has become a regular Sunday stop for us. I would absolutely reccomend trying out the brunch, you will not be disappointed.

Not only the food is great, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. Management and waiters are very knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients. differently recommend!

This used to be our favorite place to go to dinner as a family with young kids. It used to be jam packed all the time, with very professional service staff and large portions of good food.

Sometime in the last ten years some new management must have taken over. We rarely go anymore, except maybe once a year or less to see if it has changed back to what it once was. It hasn’t. The staff really does not want to be there. The food does not taste as good, and the portions are much smaller. Overall, it feels like a gloomy place – it always has many empty tables, and I always leave regretting what I ate (so much fat and so little taste).
It really is a shame, as I can remember the happy, professional staff, the good food and laughs.

I kinda wished I checked the reviews before heading here. First, on a Friday, at 6, its half empty. Sit down, order a glass of wine, don’t have it. Order something else, don’t have that either. After trial and error, turns out they only have one bottle of anything red, on a Friday, at 6. Appetizers and salad all came out at wonky times. They forgot my salad. Three main courses were sent back as overcooked and bland. The veggies on my dish were just mush though the pork chop was pretty good. Service overall was OK, and the manager did come over and apologize. So, they were attentive. Just a lot of missteps and blown execution on food.

The staff, aside from the hostess, who sat my party was rude. Even the manager was interrupting for for small talk. The waitress was the worst groomed and presentable person there, the 12-14 boy at the table beside me was better groomed. She also had to ask me to spell my dish for her to write down after I pointed to it while ordering.

I had heard great things about this name. Maybe Ill try the one in North Charlotte next time, because this one will always come up as a place to skip when recommending places to friends and family.

On Friday I went with my Fiance to this location. The waiter seemed disinterested in us and lacked knowledge about the menu. I was fine with it because the order was correct and prompt.

On Sunday we returned and waited awhile to be seated in spite of huge seating availability. This time it was a waitress who seemed disinterested. I would be fine with it but after an hour of waiting we got a luke warm dish of pasta that was made with incorrect ingredients.

I will no longer patron this establishment and I suggest you don’t either.

Good service once seated. Nice bar. Two complaints: 1. Food is bland. Olive Garden might even be better. 2. There shouldn’t be a 30 minute wait for a table when there are a dozen empty tables in the restaurant.

I received an email from here yesterday offering 2 express lunches for $10 so I decided to take my mother. We arrived early. There were only two other tables seated and the waitress begins by saying “you’re going to be here longer than 7 minutes right? We’re backed up.” No I had no intention of trying to claim free lunch but decided to time the meal anyway. It took about 10-11 minutes and when it arrived I mentioned it being late and she said “time doesn’t start until the cook gets your order”. The food was fine but it was a very unprofessional visit.

Had to wait 35 minutes for a table in a half empty restaurant. At least 15 tables were sitting empty. They claimed a server was out but they had to be missing several servers because service was not good after we were seated. Food was good but server brought iced tea refills with no ice. Continually had to wait for waiter. Other people were trying to help out. It was 6:30 on a Friday night and it seemed like they were not expecting any customers.

Our waiter (Clay) was great, even helped cook. As to the rest of the operation, they are so bad. We see the manager talking in the phone when we walk in, which should have seen as an omen. It went down hill from there. 2 hour wait on pasta. They made the little girl sitting one table over from us cry when they could cook her pizza in over 2 hours. Management staff needs to man up.
