This place really takes me back like 15 years. Just recently found out this restaurant still exist. And so ecstatic that it is. Their stuffed mushrooms are to die for. And as for the Lasagna Bolognese was absolutely exquisite. The ambiance is still exactly the same and I highly recommend this place to anyone who has a feel to eat somewhere you truly feel at home. Give this place 20 stars if I could!!!

In an effort to stay local for our Monday night happy hour we decided to try out Macaroni Grill. What attracted us most was that they had HAPPY HOUR FROM 3PM to 9PM Every Day . We sat at the bar where we were greeted by Lisa the bartender. She was very attentive always checking on us and making sure we were okay. We had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts & Mushroom Arancini both which were delicious. When we went to order our red wines we couldn’t decide between Cabernet Sauvignon Robert Mondavi & Pinot Noir Meiomi so we opted to get one of each and taste each other’s wine. They both ended up being great selections so we ended up having two glasses each.

This is the last one left in Northern Va and man is it good!!!! The pasta is great and the Tiramisu is to so creamy and to die for. You should give it a try. Ask for Enes as he was so attentive and helpful as a server!

If I could I wouldn’t even give any stars. I came in May for my daughter’s birthday the food was cooked incorrectly we ordered the stake and potatoes asked for medium well and it was brought to us as rare. Blood was dripping on the plate. When the server took it back it came over cooked almost burned. I decided to give it a try again in June 2023 and ordered Mac and cheese for my toddlers. It was box macaroni that I can just cook at home. I ordered a Caesar salad the lettuce was old orange looking forgot to take a picture. It’s very disappointing because I decided to take one off from cooking and my hunger went away after this disappointment. I will not return I tried 2 before but it’s always something. It’s not the servers fault, he was very apologetic and tried to offer other menu items. Its management fault because they need to improve quality of the food.

Appetizer is very good, most dish’s are salty, we paid 35% gratitude plus tax 41%. For nine people they gave us 5 rosemary bread and they charged us, kids drink charged with regular price, we ask to split Spaghtti and the server told us they can’t do that. I love the atmosphere a lot

Should have looked at the ratings. Sticky floor and the place smells slightly of rancid oil. The restaurant was nearly empty, but that didn’t stop the service from being slow as molasses. Once we received our bread and olive oil, we waited 15 minutes for our waitress to return. We waited another 25 minutes, with no sign of our waitress. Then a different server brought everything at once: appetizers, salads, soups, and – yes – entres. No return trip for another 10 minutes from the waitress to ask if everything was okay. It wasn’t. The order we received was wrong, and there was no spoon for the soup. By the time I finally got a spoon, the overly salty (really, really, REALLY salty) soup was cold.
I ordered broccolini, but received one piece of broccolini surrounded by broccoli. Perhaps they thought I would not know the difference. Perhaps they don’t know the difference. I am going to go out on a limb and say neither – they probably simply don’t care. I say this because I asked to speak with a manager. He never showed, then pretended to talk on the phone at the podium as I waited and waited. When he saw I would not leave without a word, he hung up the phone and preemptively said, “We took the broccolini off the bill.” Dude, not the point. I wanted to tell you about the entire experience – not get a “freebie” for something I did not even eat. If you care about improving, lean in and listen to the customer. Sheesh.
We really used to like this place. We’ll avoid it going forward until we see the rating improve.

COVID 19 Update – Still serving great quality food and my rating below hasn’t changed in 2 years. I’ve had plenty of other Italian food since, and this is still pretty good.
They are taking all the necessary and safe precautions during the pandemic, so please stop by and dine!

For the price and quality, I think it deserves a top rating. Seriously, I’ve had ridiculously-priced, “authentic” Italian food, that’s only a notch better. Had the Ratatouille, and could tell the polenta was fresh :). Table was good, but olive oil could be better quality (but that’s just being too picky).
Didn’t try the wine or dessert, so that could alter any future reviews.

Food was delicious. I ordered Pasta Di Mare and my girlfriend ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. But customer service was tremendously BAD-POOR. I don’t think the waitress (Sapphire) is being forced to work here. We were the only table she had and couldn’t give a decent customer service. I won’t come back to this place anymore.

I really like this place. Martin is an excellent bartender. I have spent some quality time at his happy hours (preCovid). Lexi is an attentive and pleasant server. I usually get some appetizers and a glass of wine. They always hit the spot. The whole vibe is pleasant and inviting.
