It was quiet when we arrived for lunch. We ordered Caesar salad to go with our Chicken Fried Steaks and fried okra. Food came out quickly and cooked to perfection!! Can’t wait to come back!!

After rain washed out the races at Longdale, we happened upon this place, and we were surprised it was in the state park. Wife and I had the delicious Chicken Fried. The gravy was close to being as good as my wifes. The potatoes were real and yummy. The General Manager took our drink order. Although they didn’t have the actual ingredients for my wifes drink, the GM listened and delivered a very tasty substitute. It was fun to talk and laugh with the GM and our server as we relaxed before and after our food.
We will be back when we are in the area. Heck, we may come and spend time at the park.

What a wonderful experience!!
A sign & decorations welcomed our group, immediately creating a fun atmosphere. The pizzas were delicious—the Mediterranean was my favorite. We also had drinks and Oreo cheesecake.
Becky took such wonderful care of us, and Jerry was a fantastic cook!
I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Becky & Jerry were great! We had a small private gathering. Becky was a wonderful hostess who took fantastic care of us. Jerry’s food was fantastic. We had 3 varieties of pizza which were all very tasty ! We had the Oreo cheesecake that was sinfully delicious! We had a wonderful time .

Let me tell everybody about my experience. We drove 30miles to eat there. When we went in, wasn’t a worker in sight. We rang the bell and still nobody, when we tried to get there attention all they did was talk shit from the kitchen, saying today was not the day and acted like they wanted to fight us for trying to eat. I will make sure to tell everybody I know not to go there. Worst experience I have had at a restaurant.

What a great place! The definition of a hidden gem. We hadn’t dined here in years, and it is now such a charming place with excellent food and service! We had chicken fried steaks and an Italian Lemon cake dessert which were as good as we’ve had anywhere in the state. Morgan was the perfect friendly server, and the talented chef, Becky even came out to check on how we liked our meal.
We are already looking forward to returning with friends to share this new discovery!

My friend and I had the rib eye steaks this evening. His was “well done” and mine “rare”. When they arrived they weren’t even as thick as a French fry. Mine was overcooked more “medium well”. The server said she would order another because it looked overcooked to her. She returned with “I’m sorry there are no more steaks”. I did get a reduction of price ($28 VS $35). It has been great food in the past but I will not be returning again
