Was in town temporarily and visited several times. Food was great, portions were large, staff was attentive. The owner was there every time and is clearly passionate about the guests and his business. Very well run establishment AND good food is hard to find these days.

Temporarily here in Mauston, WI from SC and I am blown away by how great this restaurant is. Been here for 2 weeks and I already found a place that KNOWS how to grill a steak correctly after being in NC and SC for my entire 37 years of life and found NOONE that could grill a steak correctly! I ordered the Roman Feast and let me tell you, not only does everything taste fantastic, but you get a lot of food for $30! (8oz sirloin grilled to a perfect medium rare, 2 slices of garlic cheese toast, side salad with enough salad dressing for the whole salad and not having to ask for more, fettuccini Alfredo with chicken.) ALL for $30! I HIGHLY recommend Roman Castle! This is absolutely my fave restaurant now! ❤️❤️

All food ordered was fantastic. The dinner rolls are huge and very delicious. Huge portions. Took half home. Great place to eat! Service was great too! The owner greeted us and checked on us several times. We will definitely be going back!!!!

Hands down the absolute best pizza I’ve ever had! I usually opt to make pizza at home because of the cost vs quality but Roman Castles pizza is now our one stop shop for not only pizza but their fish. The walleye was top notch and everything pleased the entire family. The atmosphere was very pleasant and I had an overall great experience. We will be recommending to all family and friends, thank you!

I am a big reader of reviews and the ones for here were fantastic and let me tell you I agree our wholeheartedly. So thankful they have outside dining We had our dog with us so that was a huge Plus. Our server was Andrea and she was outstanding She went above and beyond to take care of us Made great suggestions could not have had better service. Now the food. My husband had fried chicken with pasta and soup he enjoyed it all Said the chicken was crispy and juicy The pasta was fantastic and the soup was very tasty. I had shrimp Alfredo added mushrooms and onions and was thoroughly pleased. Great seasonings shrimp cooked just right we also received bread which was soft and tasty. The portions are huge so unfortunately we did not get to have dessert… Highly recommend

OMG!!!! Come here!!! Don’t waste your time with other restaurants in the area! Do yourself the only favor you can today and come to this amazing place! Food was next level! Everyone got something different and loved it! My meatloaf was as if Gordon Ramsey himself cooked it! And the service was awesome! So friendly and obviously a local favorite!
