This is a very nice place to have a few drinks and a little fried stuff, the crowd is perfect for people who doesn’t like to be around people too young, the owner is very strict so be careful with what you do or say, personally I really like this place.

The music was good, the staff was nice. If you are on the younger side, Roma 56 is not for you. This bar caters to the older generation, which is a cool thing and they most definitely out-danced me lol. A negative is that it’s cash only, I never carry cash so I found myself relying on family members for drinks since the gas station next door was already closed (ATM). Again, not the worst place in Hartford, but because I’m not within that age group yet, I felt a little out of place. Would I take my parents to Roma 56? Absolutely. Would I take my friends here? Probably not.
