We stopped by on a sunny Sunday afternoon and loved the all-day breakfast options. The food was absolutely delicious, and the dessert of the day—homemade apple pie—was heavenly. We tried the crêpes, eggs Benedict, and burgers, and everything was fantastic.
An extra star for the wonderful staff who made the experience even better. ⭐
They have hands down, the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had (Pictured below). The staff are very friendly and welcoming! Our waitress mentioned that people come here for the Eggs Benedict and I can see why, it was so good!! 🙂
We originally came here for the pies but the portions were so great that we were too happily full for dessert
Special thanks to Marge for making sure we were all topped up on coffee! I will definitely be coming back and can hopefully try the pies next time
The staff are warm, patient, and seem to have a sixth sense for empty coffee cups. My Beef Liver was surprisingly well done, rich in flavour without being heavy. The Mac and Cheese and Seafood Alfredo were both solid choices too. Altogether, a clean, well-run spot in Hope where you leave feeling quietly satisfied.
I had the light Rolly’s breakfast (on a diet) but it is big enough if you don’t have a big aperture or don’t eat a lot!
Pancakes were good, bacon is cooked and served the way it should be!
The French toast, probably skip it, unless you like the dominant flavour of the egg over the butter!
Hash brown might need a bit of salt!
Service is top notch! Everyone is attentive, and active! The way dinners should be run (any restaurant).
Other than that, everything else you see in the pictures was good!
The highlight for the group seemed to be the milkshakes and I did also enjoy my pie (although the ice cream was meh for ice cream), but then again you’d hope pretty much drinking ice cream would be a slam dunk for any restaurant to get right. Overall if you’re heading out to a bigger city in either direction that has more food options, I’d try and hold out for somewhere else if I were you. I just don’t see anything about the food, value, service or decor that makes this any more worth stopping at than the next available restaurant, but if you’re in a pinch and you absolutely have to eat it could be serviceable.
