I really enjoyed the food here, it was amazing! I had the Dynamite roll in my Bento box. Great portion sizes. The owner is great and makes you feel welcome. The restaurant is clean, including the restrooms, and there’s a lot of beautiful artwork around. They even have a stage for live performances and a great bar. If you’re into Live sport games they’re playing on multiple TVs. It’s an awesome place overall, definitely worth checking out!

Abraham, the owner, is always attentive, kind and innovative in his culinary approaches. Our go to’s are the “charolas” that come with 5 rolls and chicken teriyaki, always a hit at potlucks and the Ramen, amazing! Highly recommend you come check when in San Luis, AZ.

I order a crunchy tempura roll.(with shrimp tempura) i got home to realize they had given me tuna. When i called to confirm i order the right roll the girl reassurred me it was shrimp. I explained to her that i did not receive shrimp but instead tuna. She explained to me that they don’t even use fish in their sushi strictly shrimp chicken and beef. She stated maybe it’s shrimp because shrimp is also pink like the fish. I asked for my money back since i live 25min away I didn’t want to return back just for one roll. They couldn’t accomidate and wanted to replace the roll with the correct roll. Offering nothing for the inconvenience. This establishment really needs to hire competent workers and not make customers seem like they’re the incompetent ones.

The sushi was delicious! The Japanese Mexican fusion really took it to another level. The pickled jalapeño soy sauce was the perfect dip for the roll, and don’t even discount the chipotle sauce! It was fire! The greens are good too – locally grown!

Regardless of where you live, if you want something good you may have to drive a little out of your way to get it. Here in Yuma, you want some killer food, you may have to take a 20-minute drive to San Luis, Arizona.
On the east end of the city is where you’ll find Rolls & Bowls, known for their fusion of Japanese cuisine and Mexican traditions. Aside from the amazing food, they have some pretty unique takes on classic drinks.
Rolls $ Bowls offers a great selection of mixed drinks, the only thing I advise you is not to assume they taste like the ones at your favorite bar. Now, the mojito is just delicious, but the chelada takes the cake.
The Rolls & Bowl chelada looks amazing just sitting there, the rim coated in chamoy and tajin, possibly sugar and crowning it is a poker with olives, a pepper and candied grasshoppers. That’s common south of the border.
The drink is absolutely amazing and you don’t even taste that there’s a shot of patron in it. If you enjoy life, Rolls & Bowls is a must visit.
