Great little hidden gem of a restaurant. Wonderful BBQ, excellent service, great helpful people. We stumbled on this place when we were traveling from Texas and were hungry for BBQ. The only problem was we had our dogs. Not a problem at this great restaurant because they are very definitely dog friendly. And they welcomed us and our 2 well behaved dogs. Highly recommend!

Very small town vibes at this place. Super friendly staff and great ambiance. My problem with this place was the portion size, it was more of a sample than an actual serving of meat. Worst of all it was all cold, as if it was stored in the fridge and then served. For the price of the plate I expected to get something good and filling but instead I got 2 fatty pieces of brisket, 3 small pieces of chicken, and a handful of pulled pork. The mac and cheese tasted very generic and hardly any flavor. Their “Texas toast” was nothing but barely toasted white bread. Honestly the only good thing about this place was their sauces and for that reason I give them the 2 stars. Not worth the time or money.

We found this pleasant little jewel off interstate 25 in Walsenburg, Colorado.
And yes, when they say garage, they’re not kidding. So look carefully, it’s there on the corner of 5th and Main Street. The Bar B Q alone was worth the exit. But my hubby fell in love with the street Tacos. They’re as good as you can get in California. The friendly family atmosphere makes you want to come for the food and stay to the enjoy the full service bar. Nice, clean, friendly and yummy.

I’m vegetarian & my partner is a meat eater and we had a lovely time here! They have jackfruit and tofurkey for vegetarians which was exciting. Honestly, their sauces are what made it the best! You must try the mustard garlic one! My partners fave meat was the pulled pork. Also, Amber our waitress was very kind!

From the outside it looks intimidating, but a cute little spot on the inside! Great place for a pit stop and a bit to eat. We had the smoked chicken, with Mac and coleslaw. Couldn’t take pictures because it was gone too fast! The 4 sauces are great (original, tangy, honey garlic, and spicy), I would recommend all of them

O. M. G. This is sooooooo goooooood! The salad greens are real greens. The brisket is perfection. The tangy sauce is delicious. The coleslaw was fresh and there was a surprising spin on it. Not sure what the sauce is, but it’s fantastic! Just ordered another plate to go.
