Established in 1973, Rollin at D & D is a family owned and operated specialty foods grocery store. For over forty years we have dedicated our store to bringing fresh produce and gourmet foods to our patrons. With the help of local vendors we are able to provide customers with hormone and steroid free meat and poultry, available at our meat counter. Local businesses such as Pipeworks, 3 Floyds, Sketchbook, Temperance Brewing co., and many more contribute to our wide selection of craft beers. Although we make a grand effort to incorporate local vendors, we go above and beyond to hand pick our merchandise in order to satisfy the needs of our customers. We are very grateful to our Evanston Community!

Super friendly staff as soon as you walk in. Everyone at the deli is also very nice and helpful. Food is fresh and great online ordering system. Homemade chips included which is a bonus. Accurate order, which sometimes is hard to get when you customize. Great bang for your buck as well. Recommend getting the penthouse on flat bread vs ciabatta due to bacon cooking times to keep bread soft.

The sandwiches are huge, I tried the pesto chicken which was easily large enough for two people to share.
Arguably the most important element of a great sandwich is the bread and the ciabatta here is perfection. Crispy, crackly exterior with the appropriate amount of soft interior. The ratio of chicken, pesto, arugula, cheese is just right, with a tart vinaigrette to add plenty of acidity.
Absolutely one of the best sandwiches in town.

Not only are the sandwiches seriously amazing, but I have to give a huge shoutout to the team for making the situation right after our Uber driver “delivered” the food when it was nowhere to be found. They went above and beyond and remade our entire order and personally delivered it to us. As if I don’t love their sandwiches enough, this move of goodwill really won me over, I can’t recommend them enough!
