I stumbled into The Rolled Pita Bar almost by accident—and walked out genuinely impressed. These are not the thick, doughy pitas you might remember from the late ’90s or early 2000s that somehow all disappeared. This is a completely different animal.
The pita itself is light, flaky, and airy—almost like a Mediterranean–Greek–burrito hybrid. It has this incredible way of puffing open and holding everything inside without feeling heavy. Stuffed with fresh toppings and gyro meat, it’s flavorful, balanced, and honestly pretty unique. Nothing feels soggy or overdone—just clean, well-executed comfort food with personality.
What really stood out is how confidently this concept is executed. It’s a simple idea done really well, and it exceeded my expectations across the board. You don’t feel like you’re eating a reinvention just for the sake of it—it actually works.
Downtown storefronts can be tough, but this place absolutely deserves its spot right in the heart of the city. I genuinely hope it sticks around, because it brings something different—and very welcome—to the area. If you’re nearby and even remotely curious, it’s worth stopping in.

Really disappointing overall.
We tried both the rolled pita and a rice bowl, and neither had much flavor. Everything tasted flat and underseasoned, not fresh or vibrant like you’d expect from this type of food. Nothing stood out in a good way. It was honestly just forgettable.
Portions were small, even with the Tuesday double-meat deal, but the bigger issue was that the food wasn’t good enough to want more anyway. We both ended up leaving half of it because it just wasn’t enjoyable.
Service was ok, but the food just didn’t deliver.

The service was just as refreshing! I always appreciate great customer care, and when I asked about a military discount (since Tropical Smoothie offers one), the attendant immediately said yes—no hesitation. I showed my veteran ID, and they took care of me with respect and kindness.
If you’re looking for a place that values both quality and service, this is it. Highly recommend—and I’ll definitely be back!

Everything was great except I felt anxious ordering in a new place. Grabbed a menus so I know what I want next time. The person working was nice. I just left awkward that she stood there while I was paying you have to select yes or no for a tip and confirm. Aside from that, great experience, nice place and good food. I order the large falafel bowl. Couldn’t finish it. The rice is delicious!

Just ate here a couple days ago. From the start the employees were very welcoming and helpful. They guided us through the menu and even informed us of future items they will be offering. We ordered two pita wraps and they were delicious and packed with flavor. We’re definitely coming back!

Got food delivered from here :] Very fresh and light, while also being filling and delicious. Service was great! They called me to double check a substitute I made, which I appreciated. They also sent us sauce with a nice note! We completely forgot to order some since we were hungry and excited, but they saved the day (especially with that garlic sauce). Everything was perfect.

Stopped in for lunch the guy behind the counter was not friendly he seemed annoyed to be working. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and a mango shake instead of telling me the flavors are mixed nope they just made the shake and told me it was a mango shake. Simple communication would have been great. The concept is great. But the ratio is off you get a ton of lettuce with a little meat. I won’t be back.

The food here is so good. The chicken shawarma is bomb. I worked down the street and always come here for lunch. It does sometimes take a little bit longer than other counter service restaurants, so if there is anyone in front of you, it might take 5-10 min for them to get to you, but it’s worth the wait!

The customer service was beyond amazing. They explained the menu to me and suggested a bowl that I love. I come back here at least twice a week. Hosea and Cristina are the all star team. They took the time to explain the menu to me and were very knowledgeable about the menu. I would recommend this to anyone.
