Roll Play may become our go to pho place. But the other items look good too.
My family and I love how customizable it is, being able to choose your broth, protein, carb, toppings.
I got the power pho bowl, which is 2 protein choices. I chose chicken and salmon in oxtail broth. Both were ok, but I may keep the salmon to rice bowls or other items in the future. I liked it, but it just didn’t seem like it belonged in my soup. The chicken was fine. The broth was good.
My mom loved how you can get a smaller side portion. She really liked the quality of the pork belly.
I liked the veggie rolls. They actually remind me more of Thai spring rolls rather than Vietnamese cha gio, but whatever, they were good.
Prices are excellent. And as of now, this is an InKind restaurant, so you can get discounts/cash back if you use that app. If you don’t know what I’m talking about but want to, message me and we can both get a referral bonus! … Though I don’t know if you can message me through reviews.
Parking in front of the restaurant is limited. I’d recommend parking in a nearby big lot next to it, and walking one or two minutes. I parked in a spot that was reserved for other stores, but I was in and out in less than a minute, so I didn’t get towed. But it’s unnerving parking in those spots.

This is my first time trying pho. I decided to come here after seeing this video of Lovely Mimi eating at this place.
I got the side pho and a chicken spring roll. I thought the oxtail broth was worth exploring so I added to my side, veggies and oxtail meat. The side bowl is definitely worth it, especially since I was trying it for my first time. The chicken roll was really good. I like that it wasn’t friend and the ingredients that they use here are fresh. My friend got the beef steak pho with oxtail broth and said the size was good.
They don’t have much space to sit down and eat. It’s about 6 tables and a high top that seats 5 people. Use the Uber Eats app and order to-go, they have nice deals on there.
Parking is limited in the front but they do have a retail garage you can park in.
Would recommend trying this place out!

The best oxtail pho noodles ever. It’s worth the long drive. The broth is so flavorful. The meat is tender. I thoughtfully recommend it. I give it a 5 star. Role play did not disappoint. Fo r all the pho noodles lovers out there. You gotta try this pho.

If you are reading this and debating whether to eat here or somewhere else just stop and come here. This is it! So good! I just got home after ordering takeout and stuffed myself with this delicious food. Drove all the way out to Loudoun from Tysons with this food and it was still fresh and on point when I got home to feast. Oof, the flavors! It’s so good afterwards you will want to call it a day. Shoot, I am fighting the Zzz monster trying to write this review right now. But gotta let you know about this spot! They outdid themselves. Hats off to you all good sirs!

Giving this place less than a 5 star rating is a disservice. I had the salmon and avocado summer roll and it was stuffed and delicious. Also had the create your own pho with wagyu, oxtail, and lemongrass chicken in oxtail broth. The meat was plentiful and the flavor was bold. This is hands down THE BEAT PHO I HAVE EVER HAD. You also get some free drink options as you enjoy your meal. Keep doing what yall doing!

I ordered food inside the restaurant. As soon as it was ready, I picked it up and brought it home to eat. The weather was not cold and my house is less than 10 minutes from the this restaurant. One of the dishes I ordered was the pork belly vermicelli noodle bowl. It was cold, and the pork fat had hardened. It looked like they didn’t even heat the meat. The lettuce was covered in hardened pork fat—it was so disgusting. Really? Can pork fat harden in 10~15minutes? Did they even bother to heat the meat?

Love coming to Roll Play when I am visiting Tyson. Their broth is delicious and Bahn Mí are filling. I came today in the middle of their renovations, which so far looks great and high improvement on the seating arrangements, it use to feel crowded. Be mindful of music being a little loud and parking is in the garage if you dine in.

Roll play is my top 3 favorite restaurants in DMV area. As someone who is gluten free and dairy free, I have so many options to choose from which is amazing! My all time favorite is the spicy vegetarian broth pho with either chicken or tofu, it’s the most flavorful broth for pho you will ever find.
I had an amazing experience today here at their Vienna location, they were kind enough to give us a lot of free food just Because and my boyfriend and I enjoyed it a lot!! Also be sure to use Uber Eats to order, they offer buy 1 get 1 free options for certain entrees and they give either free dessert or chili oil with ur purchase!!
