Looking for a good and quick brunch option? We tried the 4 carne asada tacos for $9.99 and the 4 tacos de adobada for $9.99, with sodas for $1.89 each. The meal was big, tasty, and quite oily. However, the cashier wasn’t very friendly or doesn’t even greet us. On the plus side, the atmosphere is good and the space is spacious.

My go-to Mexican spot. Pics aren’t great bc I went to work on my food but it’s delicious. I’ve tried other places and it just doesn’t hit the way this place does. The BOH staff is so nice but the cashiers aren’t too friendly, which I don’t care since they’re usually professional and they get my order right.

The best Mexican food you can ask for. 12$ for this monstrosity, so good! Delicious steak, so much toppings, generous amounts of guacamole, moderate amount of sour cream ‘not too much’, lots of cheese on top with a chip layer and fries on the bottom so they don’t get soggy. Worth every penny. Tip well here, the food is worth it. 5$ tip at the minimum when I go here, the food is that good.

I had the crunchy shredded beef tacos and they were fabulous. Juicy, well seasoned meat and tons of cheese/lettuce. They were huge. Should’ve ordered one! 🙂

Dec – 21′ Pastor bout $11ish, pricy but worth every bite. Delicious, the real deal when its wrap with the yellow paper – visible moist grease stains . They charge .50cent for credit card, I wasnt aware until I looked at the receipt later. Will try the tacos next time around

I don’t want to talk about the food. But I will say this : I’ve lived in San Diego my whole life, and it sucks that so many Mexican food places have horrible customer service. The woman in the cash register literally didn’t even look me in my eyes. When I started speaking spanish, she actually looked offended. When I finished ordering, she went to the guys on the grill and started talking and laughing up a storm. Obviously no one should assume to be treated like friends/family . BUT is customer service not a requirement anymore?
NOT KIDDING: I ordered tacos and a large horchata. I was the only one in the taco shop. After the food was done she handed it to me, gave me salsas. And stared at me like…WHAT? I said, I ordered a large horchata : She asked the cook in Spanish if I really ordered that and looked for my receipt right in front of my face. Seriously! How did you forget the only order in the store not 10 minutes prior? Unless she thought that I was lying about a large horchata

I came here only because I was already in the center, I ordered super nachos and beans. I was given rice and a order of nachos missing the sour cream, beans, and pico, nothing super about this. Very disappointed and expected what I ordered. Called and got put on a long hold so I hung up. If you eat here, check your food before leaving, they give you what they want.
