Found Rokaa when I was looking on Google for somewhere new to try. Turkish is my all time favourite and along with the reviews they did not disappoint! Food was freshly cooked and delicious! Loved the salad and the cute bread basket you get bought to the table. We both had combination kebabs and the meat was lovely and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous and the white dip was so delicious! The cocktails were nice and made to how they should be. Prices were great! Highly recommend! Will definitely return!

This was our first visit to Roka, and we were immediately impressed by the lovely ambiance and stylish décor.
For starters, we ordered the Garlic Mushrooms and the Mushrooms with Halloumi. Both dishes were very tasty — the garlic mushrooms, in particular, were wonderfully juicy and succulent.
However, I was disappointed with my main course. I ordered the Lamb Ribs, but they were quite burnt and the meat was tough and chewy, so I didn’t enjoy them.
Overall, it was a nice experience, but it definitely could have been better.

Unbelievable turkish food. This is the best turkish cuisine in the midlands by far. Customer service is 10/10 the owner, manager and the two girls front of house with exceptional service. Great homemade fresh meze and the most delicious of meats with the full player for 6. We will definitely be back.

The Rokaa restaurant offers a good selection of traditional Turkish meals that range from fish , to meat & various salad options , plus the classic Turkish style breads that are all prepared & cooked fresh to order upon your visit . The restaurant has an open view galley kitchen & you can see the Rokaa chef team working away making a real Turkish delight for your dining experience here @ the Rokaa . The food served is well presented & is a feast for the eyes as well as for the table ! & Is served by polite & friendly staff . The portion sizes here are very generous in my opinion & quite filling , so it’s a good place to dine for those with a healthy appetite . The restaurant is also fully licensed to serve alcoholic drinks , so you can have a Turkish beer , raki or wine to accompany your meal , or perhaps even have a Turkish tea ! Which upon my visit was very light & floral , with a slight rose aftertaste & was most pleasant . The prices here are mid range & considering portion sizes & the quality of service , plus it’s upmarket approach to the decor & interior design it offers an excellent value for money drinks & dining experience for the customer . The vibe of the Rokaa is cosy & intimate & has some vintage inspired low glow lighting features & some Turkish & middle eastern kilim inspired decor plus a wine inspired art feature that may inspire your drink selection for the table . Lastly but not least upon my visit the restaurant was cleaned to an exceptionally high standard in all areas & as before mentioned the cooking station is open plan so you can see they have a very high standard for hygiene . A must place visit for those who enjoy Turkish cuisine & good levels of service in pleasant surroundings can only recommend .

It’s rare to find a restaurant where everything just delivers above your expectations whilst also knowing its own strengths so well it will surprise you and possibly cause you to reassess them. Popping in from the murky high street you can just escape for a little bit and try Turkish cuisine that makes you say ‘wow’ outloud. The flavours are amazing… well I think so. Also, it is quite a reasonable price especially with the midday offer and the dishes are plentiful without overfacing you. The dining premises are very clean and pass close up inspection for a fussy diner, the atmosphere chilled, the service is simple and courteous, unrushed, and it is all delivered with pride. Food is cooked and presented very very well, tastes very fresh, and with the added bonus of complimemtary Turkish tea I think it’s great.

Service is exceptional, little bowl of olives arrived at the table within moments of being seated, menu is full of fantastic looking stuff so we dove in, accompanying the food was a huge bowl of fantastic salad and some really nice flatbread so be aware, you will have tons to go at!
The food itself was faultless, fresh and fairly healthy, the owner (I assume) personally came over to make sure we were happy which was a great touch, the value cannot be overstated, the amount of quality food presented was fabulous!

Absolutely awesome food! Beautiful kebabs with very high quality meat. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We had some food left over (very large portions!) but they gave us containers to take it all home. Some of the tables are a little close, but a fantastic meal and experience. Definitely recommended!!!
