The place was cozy and pleasant. But the service is worth 1 * because when I came in, both baristas were on their phone. One of the saw me and just walked away with his phone. I had to cough so that the other girl would notice me.
I noticed that I was not the only one but probably 5 people after me had to wait because apparently they were too busy on their phone at the counter. Very unprofessional.
The coffee was good though.

Just amazing. A perfect cup of coffee on the way to a busy meeting filled day. Togo cup in hand would have preferred to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. It is definitely very welcoming and so peaceful here. It was super difficult to choose which pastry I was going to have today. So many wonderful choices and they all looked so amazing. I can’t wait to stop here tomorrow, so I can get some treats to accompany me on my next adventure.

My egg and cheese croissant was delicious, but the salted maple latte was plain. Customer service was very poor. No greeting even when I said “Good morning” to them. When I asked for the WiFi password, the girl just nodded towards the wall without saying a word. It seems like they do not want to work on Sunday. The shop was clean and organized. The bookcase would be better if it had more books.

Cute cafe with a ton of seating and super friendly staff. I dropped by Roggenart after seeing it on a list of “recommended cafes in Northern Virginia” and loved the large space, abundant natural light, and wall of books that customers are free to borrow and thumb through as they sit. It’s generally pretty quiet, so it’s a great place to work or read. The coffee is solid, although a bit too acidic for my taste, and they have a bunch of fun pastries. At the barista’s recommendation, I decided to try the lemon danish; the crust was nice and flaky, but I found the inner filling way too sweet. The lemon curd was slightly tangy, but most of the natural sourness had been overtaken by the sugar.

Warm cozy bakery Cafe, we need more of these. Coffee was robust, they serve Lavazza beans. Pastries are lightly sweetened, we liked the strawberry tart and also tried the croissant pudding. T

After seeing their social media post, we visited this bakery this morning for breakfast. The ambiance was lovely, with cozy decor, wooden tables and bookshelves, an electronic fireplace, good music, and lanterns that created a warm atmosphere. We tried the breakfast croissant with bacon and egg, which was good and met our expectations. However, the Meat Lover’s Omelette was too salty for our taste. The Boston Cream and Cheese Danish were decent but could have been better. The food and service were decent, but the coffee quality could be improved. We found the place decent overall, with some room for improvement in all aspects.

Nice place with a wonderful shady outdoor space. I didn’t try the pastry, being a contrarian, but had an omelet instead. It was served quickly and well prepared. Staff is friendly, the place is modern attractive, and appeared to be very clean.

Finding this hidden gem was a serendipitous blessing! My morning started out a bit disappointing, until Google Maps suggested this bakery with a photo of the smoked salmon sandwich. I ignored my guilty conscious and followed my rumbling belly. As you might expect, the unseen forces at play knew what was best for me, and it certainly wasn’t work. The ambiance immediately transported me to a European bakery, exuberant with classy vibes and the smell of delicious baked goods. My mood quickly turned into vacation mode. The expresso took me back to Italy, where I consumed mass quantities of creamy goodness, unmatched before today. The smoked salmon first was incredibly fresh, balanced with greens, crispy bacon, and grainy bread which had a perfect texture of crunch. My service standards are rarely met, so it’s safe to say, this place gets a 10/10!! The food is infused with Love

Pastries and coffee are great. It is located close to metro and has a beautiful garden outside. A perfect place to hang out. The owner is so kind and so as the barista. Because they are still new the service is very slow. The staff keep vacating assigned area so barista had to do other tasks while making coffee orders. It delayed her service. It took me 30 min to get my order. Not a good idea to visit on weekday mornings if you are in a rush. Otherwise, this is a very relaxing and beautiful place with great food quality.
