After some great dinner at Rhum with our daughter we were thinking about ice cream when we noticed Roger’s Dessert Bar right across Main Street and decided to try it out with how excited our daughter was to get ice cream with sprinkles there. Not only did we all get to enjoy our favorite flavors but got to have a great talk with Roger as well. My wife an I both agreed that he is one of the most genuine people we ever met and could just tell he loves what he does bring delicious treats to all of his customers with a very family friendly vibe. Our daughter did not want to leave and we picked out some delicious cookies to take home along with a treat she picked out herself for our pup back home. We will definitely be back and cannot speak highly enough about our Roger’s Dessert Bar. We highly recommend trying it out if you haven’t yet! Thank you again Roger!

We love bringing our daughter to Roger’s – the atmosphere is so colorful and the staff are SO FRIENDLY. Great prices and so many delicious things to try – and they’re open late enough for dessert after dinner! Ask about specials… they come up with awesome combos!

Absolutely incredible. The peanut butter cup cookies were my favorite and the buy one get one deal was incredible. I tried some of my son’s peanut butter explosion mousse which was out of this world. Loved their chocolate milk pretzels! Also, great prices and amazing deals. Will definitely get again!

Our final stop after solving the Food Done It Mystery this delightful stop was a special treat at the end of our adventure. With many choices of fudge and assorted candies some from eras ago! We were served a yummy piece of chocolate mousse cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle! Yum! Nice place for something sweet with extremely nice service!

Stopped by here with my wife on a cold winter Sunday in December. we got two hot chocolates which were served in 2 very small coffee cups and weren’t even filled to the top. One hot chocolate was hot. The other one was warm and therefore did not serve its purpose. . With one we did not taste any peppermint, with the other, salted caramel , is t was too sweet. Very disappointed. Would not go back. I work hard for my money and I don’t like to waste it.

Finding a location to celebrate our daughter’s birthday is never easy because it’s the winter time and lots of the places you’d think of are either booked or minimally $350… since Roger’s Dessert Bar is our favorite place in Patchogue to get dessert, we got an idea to take the kids for some pizza in town and then dessert at Roger’s Dessert Bar after. At first, I was stressed, because time was running out and I felt it was a big ask, but I was immediately so relieved we reached out to ask if it would be okay to bring our group of 10 kids (plus all their adults) for cupcakes and to sing happy birthday. While messaging their Instagram page, the owner, Roger, was always very responsive, and so incredibly kind and patient with us, especially considering how last minute our plans were. Roger and his staff really went above and beyond to make our girl’s day so special- from the balloons to her birthday surprise, so much thought and care is put into this business.The kids all had a total blast picking out candy from the candy wall to go home with, some kids got ice cream, and then they got to devour some delicious cupcakes. Everything was really so much better than I imagined it could be.
TLDR: had my kid’s birthday party here, it turned out excellent. If you’re traveling to Patchogue with your family and want to go someplace great, go to Roger’s Dessert Bar.

My boys have been eyeing this place for weeks waiting for it to open, so yesterday we all went in and enjoyed everything we got: ice cream, cookies and mousse treats. Today my boys and I returned with my mom to get more treats. The service is spectacular and everything is delicious! This is a wonderful new addition to Patchogue!
