Roger Miller Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is rich in flavor, perfectly seasoned, and the portions are very generous for the price. You can truly taste the authenticity in every dish.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and happy to guide you through the menu.
As someone originally from Togo, this place really took me back to Africa . the flavors, the warmth, and the sense of sharing a great meal together. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine African cuisine ✨

Roger Miller Restaurant left a lasting impression on me through the warmth and sincerity of their customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was met with genuine kindness and care. You can truly feel the heart behind this hard-working, family owned business one built on strong morals, values, and pride in what they do. The energy is welcoming, honest, and grounded, and it made me feel good simply being there. Supporting places like this really matters, and I’m grateful for the experience.

Okay so we came to D.C from Philly and the African restaurants wasn’t giving us that home cooked meal so we found this restaurant from google . I looked at the menu and instantly knew this restaurant wasn’t going to disappoint me . The food was delicious! I ordered food to take back home to Philly . Me and my husband will definitely be coming back soon !!!

If I could rate 0 I could. I ordered the egussi soup with fufu. Specifically told them only put one piece of chicken in it. When I arrive, there was 3-4 pieces of chicken and barely no soup. I really paid $15 for chicken and fufu. Guy at the front was trying to argue with me. Y’all look at this picture and tell me if I’m being petty or not. Never coming back

OMG so I’ve been coming here for 10 years since the original owner managed the restaurant. Unfortunately, as he grew older he couldn’t manage the restaurant as much, so orders and food were often incorrect. I came into the restaurant today and the food was amazing!!!!!! I ordered the Ndole with the fish. The fish has the perfect crunch and taste! Shout out to the female chef and new management that has taken over !!!

I’m Caribbean, but This is my favorite spot for great Cameroonian food. Their steamed Crocker with peppers and onions, Jollof rice, spinach, and plantains is what I dream about when I want a comfort meal. Service is always welcoming and friendly.

Pro Tip:
Ask for extra pepper sauce!

Just a great family operated small business. Support them if you can to ensure they keep their doors open to us!
