The restaurant has an elegant and comfortable atmosphere, with porcelain plates from different eras adorning the walls, reminiscing about history while also beautifying the environment. The pond and plants outside the window resemble a beautiful painting.
The food tasted and the quality were excellent. The “Lobster and Crab Bisque” was delicious, and the container was packed with large chunks of lobster meat. It was well worth the price.
The other dishes were also impeccable, and the service was warm and attentive.

Marshall our server was outstanding! The ambiance at this restaurant is sublime. As you can see from my video we sat at the window and were able to see the wonderful water view and water features. Upon looking across the restaurant and out the other side of the window it’s lush with greenery. The mood is light the vibe is right and it’s definitely a great place for date night. Classic, classy with a little dash of old school glitz and glamour. We started out with sweetbreads that were fluffy, creamy and piping hot to the table. The steak Diane was tender and juicy despite my partner wanting it well done. My crispy duck well… Let’s just say it’s duck season people!! Crispy on the outside, juicy tender and succulent on the inside. Normally I don’t order sauces or creams with my meal and I have them either on the side or not at all. For some reason I did not ask them to change their plating in anyway… And thank goodness for that! The Bing cherry and peppercorn sauce they plated beneath the meat on the plate was divine. I truly believe you could eat this meal without it however once you’ve had a taste you have zero regrets. The only disappointing thing is that it is impolite to lick your plate. I will be returning to try more of the menu. What a wonderful spot! Love this place❤️

This is the place for some amazing food, atmosphere and wait staff. We had our 20th anniversary at this wonderful restaurant and it did not disappoint! We’ll worth every penny. The wine, appetizers entrée’s and dessert was phenomenal. I couldn’t find a flaw, not that I was looking, an excellent option for any special occasion.

We have dined at Rosslers approximately 20plus times over the past few years.
We have always LOVED the ambiance, food, and service until last night.
We are still In shock over how we were treated by the waiter and apparently the manager.
Making things even worse we had invited friends who had never been.
The server who we have had before appeared so “out of it” rude and messed up the orders.
The food was not up to usual standards with what is always the best Crispy duck limp and tasteless and the vegetable portions the size of a teaspoon!!!
Our favorite dessert the parfait was almost invisible it was so small and missing ingredients ! The server rushed us through the entire meal although there were a number of empty tables. Then the woman who we thought was maybe the manager came over removing plates before we were even finished even though we had only been there a little over an hour. That alone negated all good experiences over the years.
We will have to wait awhile to get over the disgusting way we were treated and then decide if we will ever go back. Such a disappointment as it has been one of our favorite places and blatantly RUINED!

I’ve been lucky and fortunate to experience many fine dining restaurants. this place was over the top excellent. the menu was outstanding. the sevice was second to none. Mark, our waiter, was so professional and nice. the qualiy of the food and depth of taste was amazing! I’m going back for sure. Yes, this place is way better than hyde Park in downtown Sarasota and Michael’s in East by a very long shot!

I’ll start with the manager. He was outstanding and unobtrusively made each party celebrating a special occasion to feel a personal welcome and like family. He also made his work seem EASY and ENJOYABLE while running an extremely tight ship. I would highly recommend leaving room for dessert. The chocolate crepe was made at our table and the best dessert I EVER ate. Everyone ordered something different and all marveled at the quality, presentation and taste. I won’t even pinpoint – because everyone loved their meal. A special vegan dish was presented to one diner and the staff took care to make sure it was to his liking. It was a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience – until we go back again! Thank you!

Wow! Amazing dinner for a special night out. We had the scallops, duck pate, filet with peppercorn sauce, rack of lamb, Caesar salads, and the delicious vanilla ice cream rolled with a delicious sugar almond topping… still daydreaming of it all. Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Loved the cozy interior and the grounds are a lovely space. Service was excellent.

The food here was good! We had a big party last week and everyone said their food was delicious. I personally tried the steak and crab cakes which were very good. However…. this is one of the WEIRDEST service experiences I have ever endured. Upon arrival, the manager was quite rude. She demanded our large party all pay on one bill rather than being able to split it between the groups, all while she was snorting and clearing phlegm from her throat in a very gross and inappropriate manner. We were then all seated and proceeded to order drinks. Within 2 minutes, the server rushed in and told us that we needed to open the menu and order all food right away, trying to rush us. The whole experience was really strange and rubbed me the wrong way, though the food was still tasty. With better customer service, this place has potential.

A place for a special occasion! Reservations 2 days before Christmas. Food and atmosphere 5 star. Our server was a bit cold and had to bring the correct check 3 times, not sure of the server’s experience level.
