I their fried catfish is really good and flakey. The homemade hush puppies finished off the meal beautifully. What I loved the most….the fried squash. It is one of the best I have had. I will definitely be back again. Thursdays after 4pm, they have breakfast buffet. Everything smelled amazing. I will have to have that the next visit.

The Sunday buffet was wonderful and the service was great. Only reason they don’t get a 5 star is because the fried catfish was very, let’s say, lacking in flavor. We drove a long way to get there and we chose them because they had fried catfish on the menu. If we would not have ordered catfish then I’m sure they would have gotten 5 stars. If there was an option for a 4.5 rating that’s what I’d do.

We stopped for breakfast. This was our first visit to Rodney’s. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was very friendly. Food was very good, we had steak and eggs. Steak was seasoned perfectly and very tender, no steak sauce needed! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely satisfied! Great service, home town atmosphere and tasty food. Brought friends from out of town there and they were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and owner. We are so thankful that Rodney’s is here in Beaver Dam.

Okay, the salad bar looked okay. And it was cheap. But then I found a dead fly in my fresh made salad. No one checked the salad bar, not even glanced at it. The waitress just replied “sh**, sorry” and that was it. Chicken sandwich was alright, that’s why I gave 2 stars. But, mayonnaise is really sweet which makes the yum yum sauce sweet, coleslaw sweet, potato salad sweet, and anything else with the mayo ingredient sweet. It was almost like dessert for lunch. The pickles that was given with the sandwich also looked a little odd. It had a thick frothy substance on it. Rodney’s used to be OCs and it used to be wonderful. Must be slowly going down hill… and we definitely will not be back.

Delicious food! The back room had a very large party of very loud people but that was absolutely the only negative thing I could say about Rodney’s. Great service, great food for everyone, even vegetarians, and reasonable prices.

If you like old tasting grease in your food then this is the place for you! 2nd time I’ve eaten here and both times it left my stomach hurting within the hour. The meals were also subpar and bland, I Won’t be returning anytime soon.
