It’s been several years since we have been to the Rodeo Steakhouse as it’s hard to justify spending so much on a piece of meat when I can buy it at the store and make it a million times better. I normally smoke my meats and add a flavorful rub which is impossible to beat when it comes to the flavor of most steaks you can get at any restaurant.
That being said, I was very satisfied with my meal. The salad had real bacon bits and the blue cheese married well with the other ingredients. My steak was cooked perfectly, which is 90% of the problem with most steaks gone bad. They say they are seasoned but I still had to add salt and pepper but I’m sure this is just due to my rubs having so much more flavor. I can acknowledge it would be hard to get this perfect for everyone though as some people just like a little salt and pepper and they are good. But to have it a perfect medium makes up for that and it was an easy solution to add a bit more seasoning to be completely satisfied.
The wait staff was excellent and the husband/wife team went out of their way to make us custom drinks for our anniversary. We were well attended to for sure. The only negative might be the floors were very slippery. They do the peanut shells on the floor thing which makes for a mess but they felt extra greasy and treading lightly is a must. That was the least of my worries though as we had a great night and my wife’s TNT burger was great as well. She had to add sauce though as they don’t put any on but again just order some ranch and bbq sauce and all is well. I didn’t have to cook so that was also a plus 🙂

Was there with the King crew and oh yeah talk about top shelf eats y’all…. If your up in the Oregon riding the dunes or just sight seeing its a definite must for dinner… You will not be disappointed…

Great food, great service, friendly staff. Absolutely loved their rolls with the sweet butter. Their ranch was great too, tasted fresh and home made. Definitely will have to go back!
(Do be warned – it’s a place where you toss peanuts on the floor. Threw us off at first but we had such a great time and great food it didn’t make a difference to us)

We had a great experience here with our kids. The prices are pretty steep but the food was top notch and the kids menu was pretty awesome. A nice casual dining experience with peanut shells covering the floor. The staff was great. Very friendly. The steaks were cooked perfect and we were never left wanting or waiting. We will definitely be back again.

Steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Service was prompt but not intrusive. My mom’s parmesan cod was great and the sides tasted excellent. The ribs are tender and juicy. The chili had a nice flavor with a tiny bit of heat to it. Overall a nice evening with great food.

I could feed a family of four with for the price of one steak. I could of bought the steak myself and cooked it and the only difference would have been mine would of been cooked the way it was ordered and would of had some flavor. The bartender needs to learn a little about pouring a drink but it wasn’t terrible. And wasn’t badly priced. The garlic mashed potatoes are fine if you liked uncooked crap potatoes like russett’s potatoes. The rolls were decent for a steak place. Could of brought the same ones with me from Safeway but not a big deal. The peanuts were wonderful though. And the service was pretty good.

Looks like nothing from the outside but inside the food is fantastic! My son had their TNT burger and said it’s the best burger he’s ever eaten and he’s eaten many! “Dill pickle fries” are amazing and pulled pork sandwich is tender and juicy pieces of pork and the homemade blue cheese dressing on a house salad is incredibly good! Waitress was top notch! This meal was the most pleasant surprise on our road trip! Highly recommend!

My husband had a prime rib steak and he loved it. I had the ribs and they were awful. The meat was hard and dry. We were told the meal included two side dishes, but were charged for one of them. One would have been enough anyway, as we couldn’t finish our meal so it was really annoying to be charged for it. I ordered a glass of wine which never came.

Ribeye was the special for $27 very big steak, cooked to order correctly and good taste. Sides were above average in taste and size. My $12 Crown and Pepsi was not worth it. Service was good once it started but waited some time before it did.
