We didn’t get drinks, but the stuffed avocado was really good. I also liked the soup.
The salsa was really good!!
You get a side of cheese sauce with your chips and salsa
They also had a salsa without cilantro they brought out for my friend who’s got an allergy.

This was this best meal I’ve had in a while. The food was amazing, our fajitas came out fresh and steaming( the presentation was beautiful) and my little sister actually ate all her food! I would recommend.

Possibly the best Mexican food our family has had and we have lived in a lot of major cities around the US. I ordered the carne asada and it was so tender and flavorful. The mega burrito and T-bone steak were also wonderful. They give you a complimentary spinach queso dip that even my husband who doesn’t like spinach ate up and decided to get it on his burrito as well. Great food, nice servers and overall well worth the trip.

Went with a party of 4. Service is amazing. Like top notch. Not like other places where you’re assigned one server. Here we were helped by at least 4 people and mind you the place was busy. Food was great ordered fajitas for 2 and a friend had the food pictured on their menu both really good. Got some micheladas which were delish. We had heard great things about this place before and definitely didn’t disappoint, will be back for sure.

First time here. Excellent food and good portions for the price. Service was very attentive. My only complaint is it can get uncomfortably crowded due to how many tables they’ve forced into the restaurant. I sat in a corner booth blocked in by a neighboring table, no more than 1.5′ from other diners.

My family and I love coming here. Their margaritas are delicious, service is fast, and food is delicious. Special shout out to Amy. She was our server tonight and she was ON it. Our cups never went less than half full and she stayed on top of every request despite it being busy tonight. Highly recommend

We’re from out of town and took another business’ recommendation. It was excellent! Great food and service. My husband had the stuffed avocado and really liked it. Their salsa was not the traditional “red” stuff and was very flavorful. I’ve never been served such a pretty margarita

I have lived in Basehor 8 yrs. Rodeo was recommended to me by a neighbor. My first experience was pleasant, however, every time afterwards has not. I don’t go often because I always come away, unhappy. Whether my husband and I eat there or order food to go, not pleasant. So, I went last night and it was the worse experience. I sat for a long time waiting for service and had to ask for service. Two families who came in after me were serviced. This is typical. I got up to leave upset and a server asked if he could help. I told him I was about to leave because I have been ignored. He asked what I would like and got my 3 tacos right away. Thereafter, again I was ignored, I had to ask for my bill, I paid and left a good tip. Rodeo doesn’t have to be concerned about me eating there again. And I certainty won’t recommend anyone. You should make EVERYONE feel welcome from the time they walk in your door, until they leave. That’s good customer service.

Was just passing through and found this restaurant via Google. They have a very big menu, with numerous yummy looking choices. I settled for the Pollo Mazatlan, and it was very flavorful. The chicken was slightly over cooked, a little crispy around the edges. But for me that was fine, because the flavor was good. I will definitely go back and try something else!

I am originally from basehor but don’t think this restaurant was open when I was living there. I recently moved back to the area and was itching for some Mexican food from a place I hadn’t tried before. I really was looking for a place that had salsa queso and a good looking margarita. Rodeos was exactly what I was looking for. I got the appetizer sampler and everything on it was absolutely delicious. Their chips and salsa that they bring out to the table are so good. The tortilla chips were fresh and crispy and the salsa had very little spice to it so if you are sensitive to spice this is a good salsa for you. They also bring out their spinach cheese dip for free when they bring out your chips and salsa! And that dip was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend got the seafood enchilada platter and said it was great. I also got a frozen watermelon margarita and I can say that it was hands down one of the best frozen margaritas I’ve ever had. It wasn’t overly sweet they didn’t overly flavor it and it wasn’t super boozy so it was a nice sip. Plus they put tijan on the rim and that was just the cherry on top. We definitely will be coming back
