I want to recommend this wonderful place we found on the way home. We went down to eat. Apparently, it’s a new place. The manager greeted us very kindly. We were surprised by the very low prices compared to other places. We had some delicious margaritas, and their wings were super delicious. My friend ordered a steak, and his vegetables were very fresh. 10/10 recommended!

Great new Texican restaurant, with interesting takes on food. The fajita I had was delicious, and came “served with lettuce”. You can see from the picture that it’s less than a square inch of lettuce!

First time here and we absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming. Everything came out fresh and full of flavor, and the portions were great.
Our server was a younger adult/teen and he was great! He was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.

Tried out the Rodeo Grill for the first time today for lunch. Totally impressed all the way around. My food was excellent and the service was great. The transformation that they have done to the interior of the building is impressive. Love the vibe of the front bar area. Kicking myself for not having stopped here sooner.

Our first time there. There was no one else besides the staff. We sat down, passing 2 booths that were dirty. Again, there was no one else so the booths and tables shouldn’t have been dirty. The margaritas were extremely sweet. We couldn’t taste any alcohol. The food had no flavor at all. I was putting so much salt that my partner told me to go easy on the salt. And yet, it didn’t help. We ordered fajitas. 90 percent of the meat was minced. The only flavor came from the mountain of peppers and onions. The ratio for meat vs veggies was not good. We had to dig and separate them. I was going to offer my opinion to the one gentleman that was sitting in the bar watching TV. He looked like a boss or something but my partner said no. We eat at Mex restaurants all the time and unfortunately, this one we will never return to. I wish them the best. Their food is not flavorful. Through out all of our visit, no one cleaned the 2 booths that were dirty. Not sure if we are the only ones that have the same experience. Maybe with more practice, they’ll get better. We visited the Rodeo Grill, a Tex-Mex restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids. We like Tex-Mex food and were excited to try something new. Chips and salsa and a white sauce were delivered to the table. The white sauce was very sweet, like sweetened MiracleWhip. The chips were greasy and cold with the “salsa” being nothing but Passata, tomato sauce, with no herbs or seasonings. Very disappointing. I ordered the Burrito Extremo and was given a burrito with no flavor whatsoever. A side of lettuce and a dollop of sour cream accompanied the entree. My wife had the Fajita Salad which she said was tasteless with hardly any seasoning. (this coming from someone who sweats just eating ground table pepper) Staff was friendly and atmosphere was confusing for a Tex-Mex restaurant as the large screen TV was showing an NFC football game from last year and the music was high energy pop. Treat yourself to another Mexican Restaurant nearby.

I was very impressed with Rodeo grill! We came in hungry and left satisfied. They were accommodating to our 7 month old where we needed it. *bonus points for changing table in the bathroom :)* The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing. Highly recommend and will back to eat again!

Positives: The decor and vibe was super cute! The place was clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I loved the presentation of the food- it was perfect, cute plates, taco holders, cups, etc. the margarita I ordered was absolutely delicious and I’m PICKY about my margs! Chips were nice and crispy how I like them! Prices and portions were perfect! Rice was the best!!
Negatives: the music was so loud I could barely think, let alone have a conversation. Also, the soda was from 2 liter bottles so my husband said it was pretty flat and it melted the ice so quickly it was watered down too. The salsa was flavorless and disappointing. My tacos were very cold and dry so that made me sad. My husband said his enchiladas were also cold and very bland. Nothing had a lot of flavor so the food was 5/10.
I’m definitely gonna try this place again because I really want to support local businesses and I know sometimes people just have an off day. Maybe next time will be better!
