I ate here 3 years ago while in the area for work and couldnt remember what this place was called. I saw a few pictures on door dash and decided to try it out and Lo and behold it was the same place!!!! The tacos are still phenomenal! Try the Buche, Tripa, and the Queso Birria! I literally had 12 tacos

I went to ,Rodeo Grande for the first time with a friend. It’s bright and cheerful with large windows. The service was friendly and very efficient. We’re non-drinkers, so I can’t review the margaritas, which may be why my rating isn’t higher. The food? Meh. Very standard – chips and salsa, and enchiladas with cheese sauce. Everything was quite bland. Just nothing special. I doubt I’ll be back.

This is hands down one of the best Mexican Restaurants in the U.S. I had the burrito supreme. It was well flavored and absolutely delicious, dancing on my tongue.

Great restaurant to grab some Mexican food. The staff is friendly, service is quick and food is fresh. Portion sizes are good have not had a bad experience yet. They have some lunch specials that are fairly priced. These pictures are the lunch ACP!

Placed a togo order. Order # 137 on 2/28/26. Picked it up and drove the 45 min ride home. I requested one meal in my order with No Avocados. I even entered into the instructions in all caps “ALLERGY!! No Avocados”. When that was discovered we had no choice but to throw away the entire meal. What a loss because someone didn’t pay attention to detail. This place has excellent food. Disappointing.

The food was good and well seasoned, I wasn’t a huge fan of the horchata, it had a strange after taste. I got the Carne asada and it was a very big piece of meat so that was great, my partner got the Nacho’s and and was also very happy with the amount of meat and portion size. For dessert the flan was excellent.

I was here on business and had high hopes for the food. I was greeted and seated right away. My first impression came from the chips and salsa. The chips were semi-warmed and crisp but the salsa was disappointing. It lacked flavor and spiciness.

Verdict: chips 3.0. Salsa 2.0

For my meal I ordered the chicken chimichangas fried. Service was prompt and my food was ready in under 7 minutes. The chimichangas looked appealing. My first bite was a small mix of refried beans and rice. Yikes. The refried beans were not good. The rice was average. I moved on to the chimichanga. The first bite was mostly chicken with some green chilies. The chicken flavor is good. However as I moved on the ratio of chilies and chicken stated to go in the wrong direction. Mostly chiles and small amounts of chicken.

The chimichangas appear to be made with 8” flour tortillas. There are two on the plate about 5” finished length. Quantity of food was good. I just couldn’t get past the amount of green chilies and the lack of chicken.

If the owner/manager reads this the chicken is great however it’s overpowered by the green chiles in the chimichangas. Fix the refried beans. Those were terrible. The rice I had was undercooked. Also fresh salsa with some spice would make a big difference.

Food verdict: chicken chimichangas 2.6 rice 2.9, refried beans 1.0.

Keep searching if you have a craving for Mexican food.

Okay, this place is hands down the best Mexican food restraunt I have ever been to. The margaritas staight out of the gate were actually leaded versus those that provide a fruit slush and call it a margarita. THIS is a margaritas. They clearly use real fruit puree and not some flavored syrup. The salsa is homemade, the Buffalo sauce is homemade, which is the best buffalo sauce I have EVER had, and I don’t even like Buffalo sauce. I ate most of this. Their service is 5-star. They greeted us, and we were incredibly friendly upon arrival and all the way through the experience. My husband ordered a shrimp taco ala cart, and it came out wrapped in tinfoil to keep it hot. He added on the goodies it came with, and it was AMAZING! The outside ambiance was great on a warm evening. The parking lot is always full, which tells you more than you need. You have GOT to come here!

(2017)Best frozen margaritas ever! Food is also great!
(2021) Consistently great Frozen Margaritas! I love the cheese sauce enchiladas with rice and beans. The prices have also been decent for years and I will continue to eat here. My friends loved both the Flan and Churro Bowl desserts! Great service is always provided!
