My server today recommended the sugar burger and its by far my new favorite next time I go I will add Gouda to it as he suggested.
I’ve never had a bad thing here and very week or every month they have a new burger in their head to head competition some of those can be CRAZY but good.
First, on atmosphere. The restaurant is big and has a very large high tabletop bar area, a dining area with booths, and an outdoor seating. If you can’t find the atmosphere you’re looking for, you’re just not looking. It’s quite enough to carry on a conversation yet loud enough not to be overheard. It’s usually difficult to write things about atmosphere, Rodeo Goat makes it easy.
We’ve been multiple times, and the food has always been top notch. This isn’t a place I’d go to if I was trying to lose weight, but if you’re after a burger and sides, it’ll have something for you.
Tonight, my spouse had the Cheese Fries Surprise (w/chili…see picture) for her meal. The portion was huge, they said we could get a half order, but we opted for a full order since it was her dinner. She probably would have been fine with a half order, I helped her with much of it and we still took some home. We were both really fond of the Brisket Chili they served with the fries, it was really delicious.
I had a Ranch House burger and a side of sweet potato fries, again delicious.
The service was prompt and courteous, the staff was firing on all cylinders. I can’t speak for all of their locations but the one in Plano is certainly worth the trip.
The fries? Absolutely spot on. Crispy, seasoned just right, and even better when dipped in their ranch or classic ketchup.
Great vibe, solid service, and the food speaks for itself. Always worth the visit!
