The only one thing I would suggest is maybe putting a “seat yourself “ sign upfront for newcomers , since they won’t know to NOT wait by the door and just find a seat , other than that it was great.
My server was Cheryl and she was wonderfully pleasant and made sure we were good the whole time . Food was very well portioned and delicious/tasty !
I definitely recommend this place and will be back !
It took about 10 minutes before a server came by, but when she did, she was friendly and professional. I ordered a three-egg omelet, which you can customize with your choice of stuffing. It was okay—not the best I’ve had, but decent. The grits, however, were a bit dry and lacked flavor.
Overall, the food didn’t fully impress me, but the atmosphere was lively, and the service was pleasant once it got going. For that reason, I’d give this place 4 stars.
I’m very sensitive to smells, and as we entered, it was an odd one, but we waited a few minutes to be acknowledged. It was busy and we were told to sit where we liked. The decor is fun, western, and we were excited that they offer breakfast all day, thinking we would be able to come back with the family.
Dana took our orders and was quick to bring our meal and checked on us a few times, which we appreciate.
It was nice to see the majority of the staff was female, and I loved their interaction with customers.
I didn’t like the food, at all, the coffee was watery, the home fries were greasy, and I couldn’t find flavor in my husband’s gravy and my waffles, although were better than Ihop and tasted like Mickey’s waffles, had an aftertaste, like burnt or bitter I even tried to wash off the taste with orange juice.
I’m just sad and disappointed. I was looking forward to trying this place, but I’m left with the impression that Rodeo Diner wasn’t for me.
He had the sausage gravy on hash browns special with a biscuit and ate every bite. He loves breakfast all day. I had the soup and salad combo and it was good, too. A real home style soup. Just $6.39 for my meal. All the prices were great!
My husband looked around, liked the place, liked the menu and said, “This is serious competition for [our other favorite breakfast restaurant].” Really sweet servers here, too.
We’ll be back.
Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and kind. We were seated immediately which made us feel welcomed. Sandy was our server and she was super sweet and attentive. The atmosphere was inviting and it felt homey.
The food was good but, I’ve had better. This is the reason for mmt 4⭐rating. The temperature and appearance were great. Taste, it was just ok. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese but, they just put the sliced cheese mixed in the eggs. Sandy was really understanding, so she had them correct it. They were then good. My friend ordered the pork chop & 2 eggs but, the chop wasn’t seasoned or anything. It ended up going to waste . The orange juice was delicious tho ♀️. My kids enjoyed their food, so that made me happy .
I would return to this diner for sure because of the atmosphere. I’d try something different for lunch next time.
