Me and my boyfriend were looking for a place to eat for supper and I hadn’t eaten at the Rod-N- Reel for years! We decided to try it and it was just as great as I remember. The service was amazing, our waitresss was so sweet and personable. The food was hot and fresh, and the portion size is unbelievable! (We recommend the Haddock chowder and the Prime Rib) I am so happy such a great place has kept its great reputation all these years in one of my favorite towns!!

It’s a small place with awesome people and food. We had the prime rib dinner with a salad with their house dressing. The prime rib melted in your mouth and the house dressing is awesome. We would recommend the Rod and Reel to anyone who wants great food at a good value

Stopped in for a take out. Very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We have our border collie with us so we couldn’t eat in..the interior is very clean and simple. Bright lighting accents the wood decor. And on top of that the burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. Ample parking across the street on the side road.

I had read the reviews before going there about the fish chowder…..it was everything they said it was….excellent. The place was very clean . I watched as 1 of the tables was being cleaned they washed all the outside edges of the tables and then washed the salt and pepper shakers. It really shows that they care about their customers… The food we ordered was also delicious…i would highly recommend this place to anyone who visits The Greenville area…..comfortable atmosphere and great food….

If you like fried seafood, these folks know how to do it. They also have grear prime rib. The tuna is sushi grade but if you want it seared, you will be disappointed – best raw. Prices are great as is the service.. Highly recommend.
