Very pleasant young lady tending to the front. Her greeting, her articulation, her tone, her smile, she also repeated this with guests after my interaction with her. She spoke up, she was pleasant, informative, quick to describe food AND drinks when guests inquired. She even caught everyone on the way out the door to wish them a good day and smiled again. She did forget to offer a drink.
Food: portions spectacular! Chicken is bigger and better seasoned than similar franchises! Prices also better than similar franchises! The portion of beans is massive and I’m not sure it should be..I can’t imagine anyone even eats half of them. FYI- black beans came entire unseasoned so beware of that. It was fine for me as I was strictly eating them for the fiber and protein. Chicken was a bit dry.
Dated small bathroom. Nothing to the dining room. No decorations. Plain small wooden tables and chairs.

All I can say is that I’m sad I haven’t tried this sooner. I ordered the half rotisserie chicken and fried rice w/ yucca fries. Absolutely amazing! The chicken was insanely tender and flavorful, especially when dipped in the yellow sauce. Will definitely be trying something from here in the near future.

This place is delicious! We had a Peruvian dish (Lomo Saltado with chicken) and some empanadas. All was so good. The chicken and vegetables had a ton of flavor and were perfectly cooked. The dining area and bathroom were clean and clutter free. The staff was helpful explaining the menu and treating us like welcomed guests. Don’t hesitate to get take out or dine in at this hidden gem!

I am Peruvian and since I arrived in this city I was dying to eat a roasted chicken. I told a coworker and he recommended this restaurant (ROCOTO) and now it is my favorite place. I love the rotisserie chicken ( POLLO A LA BRASA) it is very delicious, juicy, with golden skin, with its yucca, cream, etc. and also the staff is very friendly… SON CHÉVERES …

Transparently this was my first time having Peruvian chicken so I can’t speak to the authenticity. I ordered the half chicken meal and was a little taken aback by the price. But there was enough for two meals so I was OK with it. The chicken was excellent. Super juicy and flavorful. Would definitely recommend. The beef empanada was also quite good. The black beans were very bad. No flavor at all so would definitely skip those.

We stopped in around 2pm on a Tuesday and were greeted and seated with no water, from the time our order was taken it was about a 15 to 20 minute wait. The portions were more than adequate. The food was put on its plates displayed perfectly. The smell and the taste was outstanding. The cost was well with in reason for the amount of food.

Really clean great place. I got a 1/2 chicken with sides, and beef empanadas. All was GREAT. Super wholesome food. Good prices, and you’re supporting local business. Empanadas are made fresh daily in house. Really tasty and the sauces they provided were excellent. Super friendly staff. I’m so glad I found this place while driving thru town. Would absolutely visit again!

Today we decided to dine in with a couple of friends and I got the Lomo Saltado, the steak and shrimp. This was very disappointing. I got three small pieces of steak(thumb size )and 3 shrimp and a huge serving of rice and fries. I know the price of food has gone up but for $20.99 I would hope for a little bit more steak and shrimp.
I had just been to Viet Thai and Wild ginger restaurants in York this week and the portions for the protein part were more.
