We came here while camping in the area. I like a good supper club as they are starting to get hard to find.
The food was great. I got the Saturday Prime Rib, it was cooked the way I ordered it and had great flavor. My wife had the salmon and she said it was amazing.
The service was also good.
Overall I would come back again to enjoy the really good food and the service.

The food was not good unfortunately. We used to enjoy dining here, but something has really changed. The side salad was sad. No shredded cheese, no croutons, no onions etc … the cucumber salad had mushy tomatoes and the loaded baked potato was laughable. A kraft single looking semi melted piece of cheese atop a dry somewhat warm potato with a couple bacon bits on top. The butter for the dry biscuits was cold and unable to be spread on the bun. The fish was decent, but not amazing. What on earth changed with Rocky’s?? The service was ok and the environment was fine.

My first visit in almost 20 years, and little has changed…Rocky’s is still the same welcoming, family friendly, and delicious all-American Wisconsin supper club that it was in 90s when I lived in La Crosse. Despite being very busy on a Friday night, the great staff made us feel very well taken care of, and the food was simply excellent. Glad to see something has stayed the same in an ever-changing world!

Really damn good! I had to carry out because I was traveling with my dog. The curds were delicious even after the drive from Stoddard to LaCrosse. The coleslaw was creamy and tangy. The bleu cod was amazing! I am so glad this spot was recommended to me.

We know you have the “Market” for Supper Clubs in your area. Then act like it! DO BETTER! Service was slow. Someone needs to teach the staff to do a better job for waiting on people. No one had a sense of urgency. The old fashioned was terrible. We were the first, plus 2 people at 5:00 in the bar but we were first in the restaurant. It was like no one cared that we were going to spend money in your restaurant. Took too long to get our drink orders then took long to get them. We even had a reservation! People were served before us. Reminding you, that we, plus 2 people were in the bar as we were in the restaurant. Then, people started to come in the dining room, those people were acknowledged and were served and received their salads before us. It was a mess. When we finally got our food, my hashbrown was so burnt on the underside that you thought I wouldn’t notice. I flipped it over and it was terrible. How and why would you send that out to someone to eat. I ordered my prime rib very rare. It was medium at best and it tasted like it was leftover and reheated. I didn’t complain about the prime because I knew it probably wouldn’t get better.Just so you know too, we are restaurant Chefs/Cooks with a lot of experience for years.

Had great service! My shrimp was very good. My husbands steak was terrible. Chefs choice was cooked as ordered but so gristly he gave up after trying for a bit. Left over half and most of the other half “chewed” and beside the untouched half! Very disappointed! Gave us a $5 credit!

It was OK. Server was great. The restaurant features Bleu cheese ,(it even offers pints of BC sauce/spread to go) so I chose a cajun-spiced bleu fish. Subbed salmon for the cod. It was just ok – the blue cheese was mild, not zesty, no “tang.” And the Cajun spice was muted as well. The fillet was very good, moist, slight crust. I would try the place again but I will order a steak. probably w/o Bleu cheese.
