Nice place with good food. Bread and butter was amazing! Calamari was just okay, nothing special. Salads were good. Caesar is a bit peppery. The walleye and steak was great!!

Rocky’s of Northville was absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the bread is to die for. Our waitress, Abby, was wonderful and made the experience even better. French onion soup was pretty good, it’s my new favorite thing to try at new places. Atmosphere seemed promising, but the vibe was off immediately. Food was okay, nothing that special, especially for the price. I had the short ribs.

Just had Thanksgiving dinner there. The food was fantastic and so was the atmosphere. But our waitress, Katie, really made our experience complete. Great personality and filled with such a positive energy. She was so much fun to have as a waitress. She was prompt and checked back with us just the right amount. Although she was also busy with other customers she still managed to spend plenty of time with me and my sister, Jeanne. Rocky’s is always a great place to eat but Katie, and the whole staff, really complete the experience. Looking forward to our next visit there.

I always get their Ribeye when it’s on special. It’s a thick, marble cut, always perfectly seasoned and grilled to my liking, and just melts in my mouth. If not, I choose between the Frog Legs or Blackened Swordfish, but their choice in fish is expansive, sometimes I’ll get their Walleye or Trout, and especially the Perch over summer. I love trying their soups, too, their chef makes amazing d’jours, but I can always count on the black bean soup, and my friends really like the French Onion. Free Bread, Free Slaw, homemade everything starting with the bread, this place is a gem and always busy.

First time here at Rocky’s. It was a great experience from the food down to the service our waitress gave us. The presentation of our meals stood out from the sockeye salmon I had and my girlfriend’s pork medallion. The bread was amazing, the salads were cool and crisp, and our spinach artichoke dip was one of the best we’ve had. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and even informed us she put our meals in later so we wouldn’t be rushed with our dip and salads. Our only regret was that we were too full to see their dessert menu. I’m certain they would be outstanding, too.

I was there on Saturday December 20th, 2025 for a party. Before I begin this. I will give credit to our server, Samantha. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Now the reason, for my 2 stars. The food. My wife ordered a French onion soup and she said it was really good. I ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop which came with a salad. I ordered the Michigan Cherry salad with the maple glazed raspberry vinaigrette. It was delicious. My son ordered the braised shirt rib. My wife ordered the sirloin tip salad and she was very pleased with it. My tomahawk pork chop was tender and cooked really good. It didn’t seem like it was seasoned, so it was a little bland. Sadly, I found a long black hair cooked into the pork chop. So I was turned off and could not finish it. My son said he sould have ordered something else than the braised short ribs, because it was short on flavor. Others in our party made similar comments about their meals as well. Short on flavor was the main complaint. I have driven by the establishment many times and it is always busy. So, the fact I won’t be back doesn’t hurt them, but I was not impressed enough to return.

We celebrated Sweetest Day here and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. From the moment we sat down, Chuck delivered exceptional service — genuinely attentive, perfectly timed, and personable without ever being overbearing. His attention to detail elevated the entire evening.

The food was outstanding, each dish prepared beautifully and full of flavor, and the ambience struck that perfect balance of upscale warmth and romantic comfort. It’s rare to find a restaurant that nails every element, but this one truly did. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for Chuck again
