I wanted to give local a try. The atmosphere was okay when I arrived I was seated immediately and that was great. Microwaved breadsticks were sat on our table, I order a 8oz sirloin (medium rare), salad and mashed potatoes as well as onions rings for an appetizer. The salad was room temperature and sirloin was so thin there was no way to make it medium rare. Maybe it was an off day but I won’t go back.

I really wanted to love this place and support local, I truly did. Unfortunately, my salad was warm in a way that felt illegal, my chicken was cold like it had emotionally checked out, and the unseasoned canned green beans showed up with absolutely nothing to contribute. I’m rooting for this spot and hoping this was just an off day, because the vibes were there… the seasoning was not. Meanwhile, IGA is serving better fried chicken that doesn’t take an hour.
