Always feel this place is dirty. The atmosphere is dull, but the majority of Rocky Rococos are dull as they are not their own buildings nowadays and just thrown into a strip mall. Food is good when hot . Still my favorite thick crust pizza and great sauce and sausage. On the other hand, they have been really cheap and stingy with their sauce. I asked for extra sauce and got almost none. They said they would fix the issue but it happened again for the second time in 2 weeks. Just cheese and bread that’s not a Pizza. You can see from my photo after removing the cheese. I reached out and no response.

Many people love the nostalgia of this place and going there as a kid. The deep dish kind of style pizza and soft bread sticks seem to be the draw. I heard the salad bar used to be amazing! There is still a side salad option available for healthy minded people. I thought the sauce was good and the amount of cheese was just right. I would have liked the dough in the middle to be a bit more done, but that’s the challenge of this style and understandable. The outside edges were perfectly cooked with a great chewy bite. I know I’ll be back with these folks because they love it so much! And the posters… Hahahaha!

I love Rocky Rococo’s and will always be my favorite pizza, but this location has ISSUES. 1st of all they must have Hellen Keller making pizzas back there or it’s the employees 1st day and if it is, they need some more training (pics attached with a few pieces eaten).
Second of all after having the most deformed and mutilated Rocky Rococo’s pizza of my life I pulled a nice 7 inch long hair out of a bite if pizza (pics attached).
I’ve had Rocky’s in the Fox Valley, in Madison, aaallll over Milwaukee, and this was the worst and only bad experience i’ve had at one.

Rocky Rococo was an important part of my youth because it was so quick, easy, and affordable to grab a slice. Since their pizza is something that I will always crave, I was glad to find this location so close to The Valley Grand Cinema. If you haven’t tried their deep dish pizza yet, someone should revoke your Wisconsin card. It’s ooey, gooey, and often covered with golf ball sized chunks of delectable Italian sausage and the best Wisco cheese, of course. When I have time, I get a whole pie (which is actually rectangular) with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, and onions. It’s a mind scrambler. Rocky’s ‘za not only melts in your mouth, it also melts your inhibitions. Resistance is fuedal, so I’m going again tomorrow! This location was clean, very roomy and the staff was friendly. Pizza amore!

Haven’t been to a Rocky Rococo in over 10 years. Was starving tonight so whipped in there after a long day/night at work. Was around 8pm, got the super slice of the day the Friday extra cheesy pepperoni or something. You should be ashamed and embarrassed to serve this to people. Seriously. Can’t even try to eat anymore of it. Do better.

The bread sticks were not up to what I’ve experienced previously. Thin, cut in odd sizes & didn’t seem fresh.Staff were friendly. Floors were dirty. When had they vacuumed last? It was not busy. I was only customer. The next time I am in Appleton I will go to the one in the mall instead. No returns to this one.

Changing my review from 4 stars to 1. Was there last week and place filthy. Tables not bussed and floors dirty with food items under tables and chairs. Young manager and staff all in rear of kitchen. One person who did come out and take our order at counter reeked of heavy new cigarette smoke. Going somewhere else next Tuesday night for date night.

We would come here a few times every few months and quality has come down. Don’t expect your order ahead order to be ready. Rude employees. I would be surprised if this place continues to be open.
