This bar is not safe! I went there a few months ago and played Tame Impala on the jukebox, while waiting for my Uber to pick me up. A bikers clown towards the end of the bar said “who’s queer music is this”. I responded by saying “That’s mine but you can change it”. He didn’t respond so I just sat there looking at my phone. I didn’t notice the clown had walked up behind me, but he grabbed me by the throat and said something. I don’t remember what he said because afterwards he shoved me back while I was sitting in my stool. I hit the back of my head hard enough to crack my skull, lose consciousness, and caused brain bleeding.
Now you think at this point the clown would have been kicked out and an ambulance would be called. Not at the Rocky Mountain Saloon though…After waking up and getting helped off the floor I start asking where I am and what happened. The only answer I got was “His buddies are coming you gotta go NOW”. I argued that I couldn’t drive because I didn’t even know where I was but someone said it doesn’t matter you just got to get out of here. I said okay and tried to drive home. The brain bleed caused me to have a seizure on the way home and I woke up, about half a mile deep in a field, my car was totaled.
The next morning the police wouldn’t believe me so I got charged with fleeing the scene. The bar does have cameras but the footage was gone before my Lawyer could get it. (I’m sure the owner deleted the footage as soon as they saw it).
Between the car, towing, court fees and a lawyer it cost me about 10k, and I had the worst headache of my life for 3 weeks. The guy who hit me and the irresponsible bartender got away with no repercussions. All of this for playing Tame Impala on the jukebox.
TO THE OWNERS: I will take this down in exchange for the clowns full name.
