The best BBQ in the area!
One walks into this restaurant with a “Where have you been all my life?!” feeling and leave there feeling like they have experienced a phenomenon of culinary bliss!
This restaurant does NOT disappoint!
We really enjoyed our experience at this relaxed restaurant. Rebecca, our server, did an excellent job anticipating our needs and flawlessly ensured our order was correct. She was awesome!
Food is UNBELIEVABLY EXCELLENT! The brisket and pulled pork was perfectly done! The potato salad and banana pudding were great.
My son had the half-rack of ribs and the portion they brought out looked like a whole rack. We’ve never seen our son eat ribs so quickly – he devoured them in what was likely a record time, and if you knew this kid – he doesn’t get in a hurry for anything…but had we reached over his plate we would likely be missing fingers… lol
The brisket was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. My wife enjoyed the chicken and brisket. The collard greens were perfectly done. The sauces were great! Banana pudding was the best you can get aside from having homemade.
We live about 40 minutes from this restaurant and in another county – but we will now be regular fixtures at this restaurant. They are definitely the G.O.A.T. in a 4 county area! Do give them a try!

The waitress was extremely helpful and accommodating. She checked in and asked multiple times to make sure everything was good. I was very impressed with not only the food, but also the price. It was extremely reasonable and fair for the quality of food that you’re getting. Our groove got the fried pickle fries and we were very impressed with them. The fried corn on the cob was also amazing. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

A hidden jewel in this area. I have been here twice and tried their half chicken, ribs and wings. The ribs are good but their chicken is one of the best I’ve ever had. Properly seasoned, not overly salty, skin cooked to perfection. Also enjoyed their lovely decorations.

I ate here twice on a week long visit to the area. It is wonderful. The BBQ bowl is very good, but I he best was the smoked meatloaf special on Wednesday. They have specials every night but the weekend.

What a great find! We were in Rocky Mount to pick up some furniture and looking for a local spot to try for lunch. The food was AMAZING. We love trying BBQ pits, and this one is top tier. I got a pulled chicken sandwich platter. The portions are GENEROUS. Best meal I’ve had in a while.

A TRUE Smoke House restaurant. You can see the smoke rolling from the pit and smell all that goodness as you pull up! Great portion sizes and the flavor on that juicy brisket was spot on. Our server Kim was amazing. Kind, friendly and attentive. Thank you for such an awesome experience. If you’re looking for great BBQ this is the place!
