The only drawback to this restaurant is it’s at the casino. I’ve eaten there several times and other than a couple service glitches in the past, this place is very good. The tenderloin is great. It’s not one of the giant tenderloins which Hoosiers seem to prefer. It’s seasoned well, breading to tenderloin ratio is great and It’s price good at only $12. I got the tater tots which are always cooked perfectly here. Their french fries are usually very good as well. This is a place I could be a regular at if it wasn’t in the casino.

The atmosphere is super nice! Love the classy chill vibe.
The service wasn’t great, they weren’t very busy and our server took forever to come back in between taking our drink and food orders and she messed the burger order up and wasn’t super knowledgeable on menu items.
The food was AMAZING! I had the tuna bowl which was fire. Had many different flavor profiles that worked very well together the mango salsa was so fresh!
My husband had the Texan the meat needed to be seasoned but the sauce was fire and the house made pickles were really good!
We also had the sweet chili wings as an appetizer! Super good but ask for extra sauce on the side.
We went back and the food was still good but the shrimp Alfredo was very bland and watery. The pulled pork nachos were good we subbed brisket for the pulled pork. Needed more of the toppings, there were a lot of chips but not a lot of toppings but the flavors were really good! The fries are sooooo good!

Shout out to Jacob! My sister and I dined here on a sister’s day out on February 1st, and Jacob’s attentiveness and engaging manner made our experience too notch. Our meal was really good too, with our Asian salad crisp, and light. We followed that up with chocolate cake (at Jacob’s suggestion) and it was good enough that we forgive him for all the extra calories. 🙂 Overall a great experience!

This place is in the Terre Haute Casino Resort, Terre Haute Indiana. We went for Super Bowl Sunday 2026 and it was really good. I had the Fish and Chips, my wife got the Pot Roast. But the highlight was the Loaded Tater Tots!! Man I could just eat that for an entire meal. Jayden was a spectacular waitress, very attentive, friendly and professional.

Molly was an amazing waitress. She ensured that I had all of my needs met and made small talk about the holidays that had passed and asked about the upcoming seasons. The conversation may have been small talk, but I enjoyed the moment she smiled and cared about how my day actually went. Her energy made my first time at Rockwood Bar and Grill a pleasure and I am sure when I go back, Ill be asking for her by name. Food was amazing too.

Looking around, we noticed that portions were very large. So we dialed it down a notch, as we did not plan on taking leftovers.
Service was excellent – restaurant has only been open a few weeks at this point. NICE Job!

This is a great restaurant inside the the Terre Haute Casino. The servers here are excellent with fast service and great menu recommendations. The food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. The restaurant is kept very clean. It is really easy to find using Google Maps with plenty of free parking.
