Rock & Drams used to be a favorite—an elevated cocktail lounge with incredible food, thoughtful craft cocktails, and a vibe that made it worth planning a night around. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership/concept, it feels like a completely different establishment… and not in a good way.
The space now leans toward a sports bar atmosphere—buckets of beer, cheap drink specials posted everywhere—yet drinks are still priced at $17 despite no longer being craft cocktails. The service matched the downgrade: the bar was nearly empty, yet we were ignored for about five minutes, and the staff generally seemed bothered to be there.
Food was the biggest disappointment. The full menu is still listed on the website and allows online ordering, which led us to believe it was available. In reality, it wasn’t. Had we known ahead of time, we would not have made a reservation (not that one was needed—the place was empty). The fries we did receive were literally crumbs and broken bits. We were starving and ended up having to change plans entirely.
What’s frustrating is that the prices, website, and branding still suggest the old Rock & Drams—while the experience no longer reflects that at all. It feels like a cheapened concept wrapped in a pretty façade.
I truly hope the original ownership or decision-makers step in and take notice. This place was once thriving for a reason, and it’s heartbreaking to see how far it’s fallen.
Drinks are a 5/5 if you get to try them.
The food is okay, wouldn’t recommend to eat there.
The vibe and ambience are cool, which keeps me coming back.
