The location of Blue Lobster is exactly in the middle of downtown. A small, but cozy place, with extremely nice waitresses. They do accept dining inside. It took us 45 minutes in the wait list to dine inside. In the menu there are a lot of see foods. Everything is tasty.

I greatly enjoyed the “Lobster Scampi”. It was phenomenal. Sadly, due to the covids, the tables in back of the restaurant, with the amazing views were closed. Staff was stretched thin and obviously overworked but doing their best.

Within walking distance of the “red house”, right off the coast, the most photographed building in New England. They were able to cater to our eclectic tastes including seafood pasta, calamari, chicken strips, clam chowder, and burgers. All of it very tasty, though the burgers are definitely done more on the “well” side. The tables seat a maximum of six people per with dividing screens between.

We stumbled upon this quaint restaurant while strolling the downtown area of Rockport! You could tell they were short staffed but they still seated us quickly. We got a hot and cozy bowl of clam chowder – so creamy and delicious! We also shared a fish and chips plate. The fish was flaky and cooked well. The tartar sauce was great too! A cute place to check out if you’re looking for yummy seafood in Rockport.

This place is very deceiving from the outside. Once you enter the restaurant there is an entire seating area in the back with beautiful ocean views. The waiting staff is very friendly and we enjoyed speaking with them. The food and alcoholic drinks were to die for. If you’re looking for a kick butt martini then the blue martini here is the way to go! I got the lobster risotto which is better than any risotto I have tasted before. It was very flavorful and gluten free. I walked away from the meal feeling satisfied, but not lethargic. This is a most go to whenever you’re in town!

This is a small diner like feel restaurant with some great seafood. I had the grilled shrimp over rice and it was incredible. Rest of the party had fried shrimp and fish&chips. Everyone loved their food. Service was fast. Waited less than 10 mins for our food and the place was maxed out. Prices were reasonable too. You have a great view of Motif No. 1.

We chose this place for dinner because of the boisterous crowd of locals sitting in the front window, and boy were we happy with that choice. We had amazing lobster bisque, then I had the mariscada special and my wife had a whole lobster. Everything was incredibly delicious, plus we had great conversation with Charissa and her mom, who tend to the front of the house, and the other customers (one of whom was 100 years old!) By the time we left we felt like we were family, and we can’t wait to come back!
