I am cheap so 7 bucks for my double flavor taco dipped in dark chocolate was a bit expensive, but it was a nice treat and fun to watch. It wasn’t expensive really for what you get, I am just a cheapo. Lol
It’s a self-order setup—you place your order at a kiosk, enter your name, and they call it out once your order is ready. There’s a wide variety of ice creams to choose from, and you can opt for either a tiny or a regular taco.
What’s great is that they offer several vegan options. You can go with their curated flavors or choose the DIY route and customize your own.
This was something new for me, and I really enjoyed the experience. It’s a unique and fun concept!
The shop is cute, staff were friendly, and there was no crowd even on a Sunday afternoon. Took about 10 minutes for my order, and there’s plenty of street parking around.
That said, the portion felt small for the price, so it didn’t feel like great value. Cool to try once for the novelty, but probably wouldn’t come back.
I tried the Ube flavor ice cream taco with pistachios. While the concept was fun, the ice cream itself was just okay. The flavors didn’t quite pop, and I found myself wishing I’d gone with a classic menu favorite instead. The waffle cone shell, though, was a standout—crispy, sweet, and well-made.
Overall, the place itself is charming and worth a visit for the atmosphere alone. But when it comes to the ice cream, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Maybe next time I’ll stick with a more familiar flavor combo.
I checked out Rocko’s Ice Cream Tacos and tried the Grim Reaper, which is their ultra-chocolatey take on an ice cream taco. I think the concept is super cute, and the overall idea really stands out—turning ice cream into a taco is just plain fun!
The place has a very youthful, lively vibe that makes it perfect for a casual hangout. That said, it was really loud inside, which made it a little hard to relax or chat. As for the dessert itself, while it looked great and the presentation was on point, the flavor didn’t quite match the hype. It felt a bit one-note and came off more like regular ice cream in a taco shape than something with a flavor punch.
Still, I’d recommend going at least once just for the novelty and experience—it’s a fun spot and definitely Instagram-worthy!
