It tasted like their ice cream is crafted on site. They were busy so I didn’t ask. They do build the ice cream taco in front of you and then drop it in liquid nitrogen.

I am cheap so 7 bucks for my double flavor taco dipped in dark chocolate was a bit expensive, but it was a nice treat and fun to watch. It wasn’t expensive really for what you get, I am just a cheapo. Lol

The ice cream taco was good but namely for the novelty. As ice cream, it’s texture pales in comparison to the titans of Bay Area ice cream. Great for snacking if you’re in the area but don’t make a pilgrimage for it. The service is prompt but you’ll have trouble finding parking in the area. Great for a little date, it’s clean but there’s not a lot of seating. It’s fairly sweet as well, so I would just share my taco.

I wish I have a good picture for what I ordered, but it was AMAZING! The best gluten free ice cream taco ever! Highly recommended

I had taco ice cream for the first time, and I absolutely loved it. The place was buzzing with a young crowd when I visited.

It’s a self-order setup—you place your order at a kiosk, enter your name, and they call it out once your order is ready. There’s a wide variety of ice creams to choose from, and you can opt for either a tiny or a regular taco.

What’s great is that they offer several vegan options. You can go with their curated flavors or choose the DIY route and customize your own.

This was something new for me, and I really enjoyed the experience. It’s a unique and fun concept!

Tried the taco ice cream at Rocko’s—flavor was great and the overall experience was fun! I was under the impression they made it fresh to order, but it turned out to be pre-frozen. Still, it tasted good and the presentation was cool. The place has a nostalgic vibe and the staff was friendly. I’d come back to try more items on the menu!

Ice cream tacos were delicious. I got a DIY with PB caramel and espresso ice creams with white chocolate and topped with pistachios. Both ice creams were the right amount of sweet it went well with the white chocolate and pistachio flavors. My friend got a DIY as well with malted Easter egg and cookies n creme ice creams with dark chocolate and Oreo toppings. This was our first time coming here and it won’t be the last. Service was quick and we waited a few minutes only. Highly recommend trying this place out. After we ordered there was like 15-20 people coming in after. It got really busy so quickly.

Ordered a Chocolate and nuts Ice cream taco. Not a lot of wait to order, but took around 10 minutes to get my order on a Friday night, fair I would say. A decent find I would say, different from the usual ice creams you get in other places.

I tried the Grimm Reaper ice cream taco. It was a fun, gimmicky twist on ice cream. The waffle-like taco shell was filled with chocolate ice cream, dipped in chocolate, and topped with crunchy chocolate bits. It looked great and was definitely instagram worthy lol.

The shop is cute, staff were friendly, and there was no crowd even on a Sunday afternoon. Took about 10 minutes for my order, and there’s plenty of street parking around.

That said, the portion felt small for the price, so it didn’t feel like great value. Cool to try once for the novelty, but probably wouldn’t come back.

The idea of an ice cream taco instantly hit me with a wave of nostalgia—I used to love choco- tacos as a kid. Rocco’s has a great vibe: the ambiance is warm, inviting, and definitely a highlight of the experience.

I tried the Ube flavor ice cream taco with pistachios. While the concept was fun, the ice cream itself was just okay. The flavors didn’t quite pop, and I found myself wishing I’d gone with a classic menu favorite instead. The waffle cone shell, though, was a standout—crispy, sweet, and well-made.

Overall, the place itself is charming and worth a visit for the atmosphere alone. But when it comes to the ice cream, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Maybe next time I’ll stick with a more familiar flavor combo.

Fun Concept and Great Vibes!

I checked out Rocko’s Ice Cream Tacos and tried the Grim Reaper, which is their ultra-chocolatey take on an ice cream taco. I think the concept is super cute, and the overall idea really stands out—turning ice cream into a taco is just plain fun!

The place has a very youthful, lively vibe that makes it perfect for a casual hangout. That said, it was really loud inside, which made it a little hard to relax or chat. As for the dessert itself, while it looked great and the presentation was on point, the flavor didn’t quite match the hype. It felt a bit one-note and came off more like regular ice cream in a taco shape than something with a flavor punch.

Still, I’d recommend going at least once just for the novelty and experience—it’s a fun spot and definitely Instagram-worthy!
