Convenient lunch spot off I74. Main parking located in the rear, so it’s best to turn before the just before arriving to the restaurant and come around back.
There is a variety of lunch items available. Had the small BBQ plate and enjoyed it. All the items tasted fresh. The sauce was nice, zesty and not too strong with the vinegar.

I have a new favorite barbecue place, and this is it. I downed the small bbq plate and to still want more. Good thing they bake their own cakes and pies.

We stopped after reading the good reviews, excited to try some local barbeque. The entrance is hard to find, but the aroma kept pulling us in. We were not really greeted and so found our way to a table where a girl took our drink order and brought us some tea.
And then we were completely ignored for fifteen minutes. We left.

Friendly cozy and welcoming barbecue place. I had the blue plate special riblets the meat was tender and pink they were delicious and the sauce was my favorite. We left with some pineapple cake and brownie which was equally delicious. The barbecue and baked goods compliment each other perfectly. I will be retuning on my way back from Wilmington to Charlotte for sure!!

Rocking pig has great BBQ and a nice old country atmosphere. Very nice establishment. You can’t really tell from looking at the outside of the building but if you are a BBQ fan rocking pig is worth bringing your family for lunch.
