Crawfish huge and tasty!! If you like it really spicy just ask for extra seasoning and the staff is right on top of it! Great atmosphere! My waitress was Irleland, she was awesome and fun! The GM Rick was fun and attentive to all customers! Definitely suggest you Rock this place! Patio going to be awesome this summer!

Great bar/restaurant and nice marina. Nothing else like it in Grand Pprairie. The updated restaurant decor and theme is creative, clean and fun. It’s a nice venue that has something for everyone. The indoor bar is huge and has plenty of tvs, making it perfect to catch a sports game. There’s a large arcade for the young ones to play and run around. The outdoor patio is also a great spot to watch the boats load and unload. They also host music bingo on Thursday nights and live music on the weekends. The food and drinks were pretty good and the menu is diverse.

I was asked to give this location a second chance, and I’m glad that I did.
Pros: Great atmosphere, wait staff are friendly, has an area for concerts, and have a small arcade. They finally took down the board that was blocking the view of the lake. The lobster and “pig wings” were fantastic.
Cons: Pretty pricey. They original crowd has not returned. I am not certain if it’s the band selections, lack of advertisements, or the prices. Pity. I like this location.

you may reconsider using a restricted big boy in your restaurant. There’s already a huge lawsuit between two companies. You don’t need the aggravation.

Sweet lady recommended Rockin S Bar on the lake, I went one Sunday and was delighted. The atmosphere is amazing, food is delicious. I had the Salmon with roasted veggies. Loved it! Angelo was phenomenal great service, great selection of drinks. Even met the owner who attended to the bar while guests enjoyed live Jazz performance. This is my new favorite spot ❤️

They charged my card after I paid cash for our meals. Went there on 26 Oct to hear the band. You have to put up a credit card before you can order food. Plus they added a 12% gratuity, the waitress only took and brought our orders. You have to go to the bar to get and pay for your drinks separately. When it was time to leave I asked for the check. The waitress comes back with just a receipt for me to sign. I paid the waitress in cash and asked for the itemized receipt. 20 minutes had gone by and we had to ask another guy behind the bar to find the waitress. Finally the waitress showed up as we were leaving and just handed the receipt and kept walking. I didn’t think anything else of it since I paid cash, till I notice it had been charged to my card on the 28 Oct. I Immediately called the restaurant with no answer as they are only open Thursday-Sunday. On 30 Oct I called back to the restaurant to speak with the manager. The waitress that had waited on us answer the call and said yes she remembered we paid her in cash. That she told the manager that I had indeed paid in cash and that they were refunding my card and it would take 3-5 days. It’s now 6 Nov and my account hasn’t been credited. I called back to the restaurant and spoke with the manager Rick and explained what had happened. He said give him a couple of days and he would get back with me. Today is the 10 Nov my account still hasn’t been credited and no response from Rick the manager. I filed fraudulent charge with my bank today against Rockin S Bar & Grill. I will never visit this establishment again but if you do make sure to check your itemized receipts and bank account. Update 15 Feb 2026 I have to file a police report and a consumer complaint with the Attorney General. Do not frequent this place. The manager Rick is a liar and so is the employees he has working from him. He said let him handle the employee and he would refund my card for the fraudulent charge. It has been 4 months with one lie after the other about the POS system and the refund. Rick no longer takes my calls on his personal cell nor at the restaurant. This place should not be frequent and should be shut down.

Like most of the reviews I’ve read on this place, I am very disappointed with the remodel. They built in half of the patio to make a game room. The other half is walled off where there is now no breeze and almost no view of the lake. Then they park this monstrosity of a barge right in front of the dock that blocks what little view was left after putting up the walls. The bar has been reconfigured as well. Also very unimpressive. We were going to order food, but it took so long to get drinks we just didn’t want to know how long the food was gonna take.
