New owner’s and two thumbs it was a great eating experience..we had cheeseburgers and I had Bacon on mine..A real burger. And burger seasoning was top notch. New owner’s you made the whole eating experience, during the off season on Greers Ferry lake ,a great thing.

We tried the Round Rock Diner recently after not visiting for a few months (due to unfriendly atmosphere). We noticed the POSITIVE attitudes and friendly staff immediately. The NEW OWNERS are awesome. It was 7:50 pm when we walked in and asked if it was too late. The female (who it turns out is one of the owners) welcomed us in with no hesitation. We were served right away, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. We didn’t know when we entered that it was under new ownership, but it’s a refreshing change. In a past visit, we were told we could not have refill on iced tea because they had run out and owner would not allow them to make more. Who Does that?! We will definitely be returning— to try the new menu items! Welcome to Greers Ferry. With your positivity, you will surely be successful!

Great local diner! Katie was so sweet & the food was fast, delicious & filling. The hamburger was fresh & big! Tater tots were perfect, shrimp basket, spicy chicken sandwich & country fried steak all hit the spot. Will definitely be back.

Ordered a cheese burger. Researched best burger and found on line this was a good place to get a good burger…not. It was to go and I picked it up. The time was 2:30pm…had 1 table (2 people) were dining in. Paid 15.00 total including 4.00 tip. The burger was overdone there was no lettuce, 2 pickles very little mustard and mayo. I’ve been in Food and Beverage for 40 years and this was unacceptable for my standards. I’d advice you to go to Sonic…you’ll be more impressive with them. So disappointed. Will not go back.

The service was extremely slow. It took 10 minutes to get a server and close to an hour for burgers. The burgers were nothing better than Sonic offers. The whole vibe of the place, starting with the menu, was confrontational. The server was nice and polite, but the owner’s attitude toward customers was obvious in the menu comments, lack of competent kitchen staff, and general vibe.
Fortunately, our next meal was at Bentley’s. We went there Thurs night, Fri night, and Sat morning. Bentley’s seafood buffet is extremely good for such a small town.
So, my recommendation is to avoid Round Rock Diner and save yourself time and money by getting your fast food from Sonic. For sit-down dining, Bentley’s is an exponentially better choice.

We had a very unpleasant experience. We arrived around 7:00 PM. They were moderately busy and we were greeted within about 10 minutes which was reasonable. Shortly after, we ordered. While waiting for our food, our drinks were never refilled, the waitress was fired which we could hear out in the dining room. We had 2 meals that included salads. The salads were never brought out. We were there for an hour still with no food. My wife finally got up and asked how much longer it would be, the lady first asked her what was the order and then said about 10 minutes without even checking with the kitchen to actually see how long it would be. At this point, we were all alone in the restaurant except for a single gentleman who had just walked in. I told my family we were leaving and promptly left. I wish I could say the lack of service was because the waitress was fired but that happened after we had already been there for about 45 minutes. They clearly have some issues to work out. We will never go back.

Per the 18 year old…The grilled chicken sandwich is FANTASTIC! We also had a cheese burger and chicken fried steak bites that were super good. The decor and service were great. Highly recommend for the fun decore and filling homemade fare.
