I had an amazing experience at this establishment! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The interior is cozy, and there’s a quaint outdoor area as well. The menu offers a nice variety, balancing between casual bar bites and more refined dishes. Everything we tried was delightful, but the Brussels sprouts were truly exceptional!

Wow, this place was an impressive surprise! It’s a little hole in the wall right off the highway in Rockford; very unassuming when passing by and we found out about it totally by accident but we LOVED the food! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!
We got there late on a Friday night right before their kitchen closed. The staff was very professional and polite and never rushed us.
First we ordered their chip and dip appetizer which was simple but quite good. The potato chips were kind of weird but not in a bad way at all; I’ve just never had any like them before and couldn’t stop eating them. Lol! They were a delicious contrast to the flavor and texture of the chive dip and a great start to our meal.
They have a really nice menu selection and I was torn about what to get but we both ordered their special which was a walleye dinner with an amazing butter sauce, mashed potatoes, and broccoli.
WOW!! Whomever made the walleye and the accompanying sauce outdid themselves because it was *amazing*! I think it was the best walleye I’ve ever had anywhere. The flavor was delicious but also the texture and flakiness of the fish was just perfection! I had asked for a side dish of the remoulade sauce thinking I would need it but that was totally unnecessary of me because the butter sauce was far superior and the fish was cooked so well that it would have been fine with nothing at all!
I was really, really full after eating dinner but was set on getting dessert as well because they have cheesecake! The cheesecake was delicious and a perfect ending to the entire meal.
The price was as to be expected: totally fair and competitive when compared to similar venues. This place was great and we will try to go back again soon!

Amazing. I sure hope this place stays around as it is a wonderful local gem.
We ordered the steak, ceviche and Southwest egg rolls and they were all great. I like it so much I came back a couple days later and got a burger with one of my boys and it was also delicious. I will be coming back many times!

Have driven past this place hundreds of times and never noticed it…glad we finally noticed. The bartender was lovely and friendly, the food and wine were SO GOOD (best restaurant tortilla chips ever!), and the atmosphere was so warm and cozy. Now that we know we will be coming often on the way to and from our cabin.

Nice new place right off Hwy 55 on the north side just east of Rockford. The burgers are excellent and my wife loved the gluten free bun. I also had the made in house chips which were very good and she had the broccoli and said that too was very good. Much smaller inside than expected and saw a group of people come in and leave becuase not enough room even if no people present. Only 4 or 5 tables for 4 people max, a few tables for two people and bar stools at the bar. Plus a bit of outside seating. That’s it. A little cramped. LOTS of alcohol if that’s your thing, not for me. OK parking since it’s small inside.

We love it here so much. The service is always top notch, the people are great, and the food is delicious. It’s beautiful inside and the drinks are phenomenal. It’s a little more upscale in this small town. Truly one of our favorite places to go! You walk in and feel welcome, and you walk out wanting to come back.

Chicken strips looked like something in a gas station that were a few days old under the heat lamp.
Waffle fries were over seasoned enough the salt burnt your lips.
Burgers were bland but the positive is they were cooked right.
Mac n cheese was the usual food service stuff.

Always excellent. The customer service comes with a handshake and a hearty hello! We had the wings and they were phenomenal. Anytime we are in Rockford – we make sure to stop!!

My wife and I have been to many places over this year to eat and have come to a conclusion that Rockford RoadHouse is our go to place for eating out! I don’t even feel comfortable eating anywhere else honestly. The people are amazing the food is incredible and the drinks… Well you will have to come in and find out for yourself!! All together 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
**UPDATE** (Sat: 7/6/24) They have two new cheesecakes!! The first one is a Key Lime Cheesecake, sweet with a hint of lime! The second is a Chocolate Caramel Brownie Cheesecake , rich and creamy!!! I would recommend trying both at least once!!!!
