This was my 1st time there. All I have to say is DAMN THAT WAS DELICIOUS FOOD! I had the chili dog and French fries. I ate my all up. We took out son and his fiancee there too and they were like DAMN we found a new place when we come to visit you guys. Thank you for everything. We highly enjoyed it and we are mountains locals and I have to say it is worth the drive. Go here when you are in town. Will not disappoint. My mother-in-law is very hard to (well to say this nicely is hard to please) get the meal right and she thought this was the best chili dog she has ever eaten. Good job fellas cause when my mom is happy than I know the place is really good.

My wife and I were looking for a good Ol Hot Dog spot, and were very pleased with this discovery! This is definitely not an ordinary hot dog joint. We both had the Fire Dog. The homemade chili was . I’ve been an avid fan of this place since they first opened back in… when was that? Has to be over a decade ago. Over 90% of that history, it’s been fantastic, but they’ve gone through some downturns and it feels like they must be in another one now. I look through the recent history and see a lot of 5-star reviews, with some 2-star ones sprinkled in here and there. Maybe we just went at the wrong time, but it was definitely an off-night tonight. We placed an order online, but noticed that the menu selections are set up incorrectly for DoorDash and GrubHub (it requires you to remove an topping from your item and you have to leave a note – I guess I could have called).
1. Regular bread instead of gluten-free on the turkey sandwich, which was nothing at all like it used to be. It looked like 3 thin slices of store-bought packaged turkey, and there was no avocado.
2. The fries are not what they used to be and also had no salt on them.
3. I ordered sweet potato fries and got regular ones.
4. One of the chicken tenders we got was burnt to a crisp (sorry, the one photo I thought to take).
5. My Danger Dog was okay… but they used to be better.
There was one person working in the whole building. The menu screens behind the counter were turned off and so was the music. Granted, it’s December 23rd, but still.
Maybe we’ll try coming back in a year or two if they’re still around. What a shame.

Came here all the time when we are in town always 5 star experience sadly today will be the last time I come to rocketdog I ate my entire hotdog because I was hungry the fries were drenched in oil completely not eatable originally they serve shoes string fries and that’s no longer I always order the root beer float they no longer serve those either tables were full of grime as well as the baby chair I had to hold my 2 year old in my lap. Super disappointed

I haven’t been back to Rocket Dog since COVID and wanted to go back and Wow! It’s even more delicious than before. Serving portions are huge. Made to order food, Leo is the star of the show making the food so addicting that I had to stop myself before I over ate. The chilli cheese fries are just as delicious as they were in 2019 bringing that pre COVID nostalgia back for me and the Turkey sandwich was much improved by taste, flavor, and texture from the last time I had it. Leo also told me that he makes custom food on the weekends and gave me a sample of his chicken salad that he made on the spot and HOLY COW!!! It was even MORE delicious! Absolutely plan to go back and get that chicken salad sandwich. I highly recommend Rocket Dog across the board: worth your time, money, and taste buds!

Rocket Dog in Fresno, CA was fantastic! Chef Leo personally welcomed us, and the staff even turned on the heater to make sure we were comfortable. Portions were huge and everything tasted incredibly fresh. We tried the Chicago Dog with sweet potato fries, chili fries, and the mac and cheese burger, everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Based on the other reviews I expected to come to a happening brew pub but was a little disappointed to just show up to a place that did counter service and only had about 6-8 beers on tap. Outside area was dirty but was empty so it was nice to eat out there. Food was delicious, had the danger dog and wife had the Hanzel heaven. Kids had a plain hot dog and the Mac and cheese hot dog. All were finished without any issues. Felt a little odd spending $90 for hot dogs for dinner but they were still super yummy.

I always drive by this place but never stop. Well today, my daughter and I decided to try it out. The service was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. And that burger….OMG it was fantastic. The whole menu looks mouthwatering. I will definitely come back and bring the rest of the family.

Had Rocket Dog for the first time and it did not disappoint. Came here for lunch with my cousin. Food did not take long, service was great and friendly I even seen them attend to a couple with a dog and gave the pup a water bowl. I ordered the grilled chicken burger not dry definitely a must try and the garlic fries best I’ve had.
