11/10 Experience!!!
My husband and I visited Rocket Burger & Subs for the first time using a coupon from a Veterans voucher book—and we’re so glad we did. The atmosphere is laid-back, nostalgic, and gives real small-town, family-owned vibes. The cashier who helped us was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. She explained the menu, helped us customize our burgers, and made using the coupon super easy.
The staff prepared everything with so much attention to detail—they even cut vents into the fry carton so they stayed crispy by the time we got home. The burgers were delicious, generously topped (especially with the added bacon!), and the fries were perfect.
One of the coolest surprises was their huge selection of vintage sodas and cane sugar fountain drinks. As a soda lover, I was honestly in heaven. The customer service, quality of food, and overall experience were such a refreshing change. The cashier even helped us sign up for their rewards program and explained all the perks.
We left feeling so happy with our visit. Amazing food, amazing service, and such a unique gem. We’ll definitely be returning!

This place has great burgers unfortunately I went to try a sandwich. They have quality bread and very thin shredded lettuce which was great but for 15 dollars I don’t recommend. They have the largest soda selection I have see for a restaurant. Kid friendly. I would recommend purchasing a burger.

First and last time. It’s dirty, the floor is sticky literally. The weren’t wearing any gloves. The steak and cheese was OK but Jersey Mikes is better and Forefathers is the best in the Phoenix. $18 dollars for a 10” sub that’s just OK I’ll pass. More like and $8 sub. I don’t recommend.

We’ve been eating at this place for years, but I’m always too excited to dig in to take a picture! The food is like the best diner ever, but better. It’s not fancy, it’s definitely messy, and the flavors are out of this world! Thin burger patties grilled to perfection, the CRUNCHIEST bacon, and super fresh produce! I almost always get the bacon cheeseburger because it’s literally the best ever, and my husband feels the same way about the Santa Fe burger. We have ventured out with the menu and everything is always delicious, cooked to perfection, and stacked with toppings. Don’t let the “hole in the wall” vibe scare you- this place is WELL worth it!!

The Chicago Dog was very good but the Santa Fe Burger was exceptional! Comes with cheese, tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, Rocket Sauce, and a Fried Green Chile (dredged in a corn meal batter). The same corn meal batter coated the generous Fried Mushrooms. Delicious! Counter staff were friendly and efficient and the selection of vintage and novelty soda pop is gob-smacking.

I haven’t visited Rocket Burger in quite some time, so my daughter and I decided to go in and have some lunch. The young lady at the counter (her name escapes me) was incredibly pleasant and helpful!!! My daughter and I both got the double bacon cheeseburger, I got onion rings, she had fries. We had to get the bottled sodas, they had birch beer, which being a PA native is one of my favorite sodas, yet impossible to find in AZ. The burgers were great! I probably should’ve done a single, it was a lot! They bread was super fresh, the pickles were delish, overall a really good burger! Fries were good, and onion rings were amazing! After we ate we of course bought a few birch beers to take home and my kid had a soft serve, I definitely recommend stopping in, if not for food then at least to check out the incredible bottled soda collection!

Was great at one time but look at my lil teeny $10 sandwhich. 4 and half inches isnt even a half of the hoagie bread. And the zucchini has lots of bread but no seasoning, all you taste is squirt of the mass pieces of zucchini juice into your mouth as you crunch in flavorless batter. I’ve ordered this before and it was way better. I guess inflation does a damper on quality when prices are so high

Oh my gosh this place needs to be more well known!!!! The food was amazing I got the Philly burger as a double with the cheese curds as an app. The Soda selection was absolutely mind blowing, they had so many options! 11/10 especially if you enjoy a cozy diner vibe
