Pizza – excellent. T crust is exceptional, and like a sturdy house, it’s the foundation of good pizza. The sauce is just right and the amount of cheese:toppings ratio is perfect. Solid NY style pizza, and better than it in my opinion. Having eaten at several of the best East Coast pizzerias in NY, NJ, and CT, this is by far the best I’ve had and arguably the best in the Burgh. Dine-in atmosphere is my only knock, but it’s a pizzeria not a Michelin Star restaurant. Outside of the pizza, if you dine in it’s BYOB, so go to D’s across the street and buy a sixer while you wait for your pizza.

My daughter visited this place for the first time. Afterwards she insisted that I go. She said, “mom you are going to LOVE the pizza!” and she was 100% correct!!! The pizza was so good!!! The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was balanced in taste and proportion to the crust & cheese ratio; there was a perfect amount of pepperoni.
Our plan was to get a whole pizza but it would have been a 30 minute wait, which was too long for us on that (hangry ) day, so we got slices. The slices were so fresh and savory. Truly New York style. The service was great. While we stood in line the cashier remembered my daughter from her first visit and complimented her outfit. The shop was super busy but, the cashier (I didnt get her name) was patient & took time to engage and answer our questions. I didn’t feel rushed which I appreciated because they were super busy.

Since my initial visit I have been back 3 times and each time was pleasant and the food was superb. I tried a Sicilian slice and the crust was something I’ve never experienced before. It gave ciabatta vibes and I was pleasantly surprised. Another visit I got an Italian Hoagie and it was so good, very flavorful! The bread was crispy on the outside and soft inside the combination of meats/cheese was perfect.

Last weekend my daughter ordered takeout, a whole pizza with basil, onions and pepperoni. It was

Pizza was really good, female employee was friendly and helpful. We got a large half pepperoni half cheese and a small 4 item pizza and it came to $54. Crazy expensive, imo anyway. I know you get what you pay for, but prices have gotten so crazy. Great pizza though, I just can’t go once a week more like once a month maybe. Also, there is no sit down eating, just take out.

I wanted to share an update after my previous experience. Tonight, I went back in and everything was handled perfectly. I made sure to clearly repeat my order on the phone, and it was repeated back to me, which made all the difference. The order was exactly what I expected, and the experience was smooth and welcoming.

I would also like to sincerely thank the owner for reaching out beforehand. We had an amazing and thoughtful conversation, and it truly meant a lot to me. Taking the time to listen, communicate, and care about a customer’s experience speaks volumes about the heart behind this business.

Moments like this reinforce why I’ve supported this place for so many years. Mistakes happen, but how they’re addressed matters—and tonight showed genuine care, accountability, and a commitment to improvement. I’m grateful for the follow-up, the professionalism, and the continued dedication to both the food and the people you serve.

Looking forward to many more great meals and positive experiences ahead.

Have been wanting to try this since it moved into the neighborhood. Solid pizza for sure. There is typically always a wait so make sure to call well in advance to order for pick up. We got the Caesar salad and the Vodka pie. Salad was good and dressing was tasty, like that they add anchovies. The sauce on the pizza was perfect, but I think we ended up with the smoked mozzarella on ours instead of fresh, which was still good but would’ve preferred the fresh! Crust is the perfect thinness. Overall great addition to the neighborhood!

The pizza is incredible. I’ve had New York, New Haven, Jersey, you name it. The vodka with meatball was a crowd favorite. Exceptional service. What a great addition to Regent Square!

Stop #1 on my Pittsburgh Pizza Tour and I finally got to try the pizza EVERYONE in Pittsburgh has been raving about…and it was the best I’ve ever had in my life!
I ordered takeout because I heard there was always a wait, but to my surprise, there were only a few people dining in, and no lines.

I got the standard cheese pizza with fresh basil leaves and it was huge, but you really get your money’s worth for $23/pie.

The restaurant was bigger than what I thought, and really modern inside and everyone who worked there was so welcoming and friendly even a 1/2 hour before closing time;)

On first bite, I felt like I was in Italy- the ingredients were so fresh! The thin crust was so crispy and unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before, and the sauce was sweet and absolute perfection, although I would have loved a little more;)

You must try this pizza- there’s nothing like this in Pittsburgh!
I can’t wait to go back again! It’s a 10/10 and number one on my list and going to be hard to find anything better.

Edit to verbiage used & owner response – It’s also not supposed to be dry. Clearly the pizza was overcooked a bit i.e. the picture. Maybe that’s just your “style”.

I was kind of bummed because I was Super excited to try them based on the reviews I read. Based on the pictures on the website & review pics I thought there would be a little cheese pull but mine was more baked in. I reheated a few slices later because I picked it up late & thought reheating it might melt it down but it didn’t. Not sure if it was overcooked because I ordered at lunch time & they were busy or if that’s how it was supposed to be.

i wanted to love this place but it was lackluster. i ordered the vodka sicilian and the dough was so dense, sauce was too salty and cheese was rubbery. the italian hoagie tasted old. the bread was tough and meat didn’t taste fresh. i won’t be back.
