Rock River Pizza was as great as ever! Our only regret is that we did not find it sooner! The owner, Randy, and his wife, Mel, are wonderful people. The wait staff are very friendly and the service is fast, attentive and accurate!
The food is excellent, flavorful, and for the most part, prepared in their own kitchen, which is more than can be said for most places! Sauces are made fresh daily, meats are mostly hand cut daily! Pizzas are baked in a gas fired Italian style pizza oven and are delicious! They are the best I have had since I was in Italy in the 1970s while I was in the Army!

We have been there about 4 times now and every time it has been really good. We love the toasted ravioli. The pizza is really good as well as the calzone and the fish fry was excellent homemade potato pancakes. You can tell the owner wants to serve good food. My money can spend anywhere but I would rather support a place that serves really good food and cares about his customers.

We have slowly been trying different pizza places in town and most are meh. The pizza game could be a lot better in Watertown. We tried Rock River Pizza Co tonight and it was delicious. Had the New Yorker 16”. A lot better than most places we have been too in the area. It is only take out which was perfect for us. Thanks for making a great pizza while you are still in the business.

Pizza and appetizers were amazing. Some of the best pizza in town, in my opinion. Unfortunately, due to staffing issues, they are take-out only and have a limited menu. The owner was so nice and he let us sit inside while we waited for our food. I recommend supporting this guy and send business his way while he struggles to get back up and running.

The pizza here is amazing if you like a little char on your crust. My son loves their cheese pizza and he promptly got us hooked on it as well! They currently are only offering take out, but I highly recommend this gem of a place!

I love this place and I have since the day it opened. Great food. Friendly service. Great atmosphere. You must understand, though, these pizzas take time. These are true Italian-style pies with thought put into the amount and placement of toppings. And they’re fresh. If you order a pizza with mushrooms, they’re not opening a can of mushrooms from Sysco. They’re actually slicing fresh mushrooms for your order. 90% of the 1 star reviews are based on slow service and skimpy toppings. All of the above is the reason.
Randy is a great guy who believes in what he is doing, but he’s also a New Yorker, who’s not going to dote over people if they don’t appreciate that.
Bottom line: If you want piles of canned ingredients in 10 minutes for 10 dollars, this isn’t the place for you. If you want an evening out in a great atmosphere and great food that’s unapologetically hand-crafted, you’ll love it.
