kind of ballsy adding a “convenience fee” at a franchise (for 1) and one that serves food on chipped dishes (for 2)
i have a decent bit of experience in the food industry and even at the crappiest places i worked we NEVER would have sent food on MULTIPLE chipped dishes. it’s a safety hazard.
and i’m sorry but $90 for 2 friggin people is absurd. i know everything is expensive right now but i’ve been to several locations and have never had to pay that much for 2 people.
and no, we didn’t order an obscene amount either. 2 cocktails, 2 fried rice dishes, 3 sushi rolls. that’s literally it.
definitely do not go to this location, it’s trash.

I’m really disappointed with my visit to Rock N Roll Sushi in Tillman’s Corner. If I could’ve left 0 stars I would. I normally go to the Rock N Roll Sushi – Midtown location and it’s always excellent, so I expected the same here but this was nowhere close.

The rolls I received were honestly terrible. For almost $20 per roll, they were less than an inch thick and barely had any topping at all. The Punk Rock Roll especially was a joke, maybe 1/2 teaspoon of topping and very sloppy presentation. It looked nothing like what I’m used to getting at their other locations.

The young girl behind the sushi counter clearly needs more training. The quality and consistency just weren’t there. Maybe sending her to the Midtown location for hands-on training would help, because they actually know what they’re doing.

Overall, this was a huge disappointment and definitely not worth the price. I’ll stick to Midtown from now on.

Ordered my food over the phone. The employee took my payment since my order was over $50. Did not mention a to go charge at 10% of your order so it was $6.62. The employee did not mention this over the phone. When I realized the extra charge on my bill, I went back to the store for a refund. I was told I was being hostile because I said the employee should have mentioned that fee over the phone. The other employee implied that the message is on the door of the restaurant about this to go charge. I told her how could I see your front door of the restaurant if I’m placing my order at my house. Tried making excuses for the employee that took my order. I believe the head manager wanted to use the excuse that she was young. So bottom line, they lost my respect and my business! The funniest part about this experience is that the reason for that to go charge of 10% of your bill is because of Covid, which was six years ago. She had to do that to pay employees and I get that, but Covid is over!!! Oh, and don’t forget the convenience fee at 3.75% which was an extra $2.48 which was not mentioned either. Thanks for the inconvenience! You definitely lost my business!

Just have a look at what these folks packaged up for my to-go order. This was supposed to be the twisted tuna. This is a pile of goop with like 4 avocado bits laying around it. The rainbow roll was ROOM TEMP and none of the directions were followed (doesn’t have all the correct ingredients on it!). The spicy tuna isn’t even rolled!!! They charged me money for this! Oh, and “general manager” Olivia has been made aware that this is the condition of food that was shamelessly put in my bag for to-go. Unacceptable.

Biggest catfish. Don’t let the looks fool you.

Most of the tables were dirty when we arrived, and the bathroom was even worse — urine on the floor and no paper towels in sight.

The food was just as disappointing. The “fried rice” looked like plain white rice with soy sauce dumped on top — no seasoning, no stir-fry flavor, just mushy and sticky. Easily some of the worst rice I’ve ever tasted. The steak was tender but completely bland, like unseasoned microwave meat. The broccoli was completely raw and just tossed on the plate, and there was an overwhelming amount of carrots, which made it feel like they were trying to fill the plate with cheap veggies instead of actual steak. The portion size of the steak was nothing like what they advertise in the photos.

The service wasn’t any better. I waited at the front to speak to someone, but the staff had disappeared for nearly 20 minutes. One girl was visibly on her phone in the back and didn’t acknowledge me until I called the store myself. Then she casually walked to the front like I hadn’t been standing there the whole time.

Our sushi sat on the counter for at least 10 minutes before anyone brought it to us, and we never got drink refills. To top it off, there wasn’t a single Asian person working there, which might explain why the food didn’t taste remotely authentic. I honestly don’t know how this place has any positive reviews. If you’ve ever had real Asian food, this place will be a huge letdown.

I wouldn’t recommend it — unless you’re okay gambling with your time, money, and taste buds. We ate and didn’t complain to them directly. After driving for over 8hrs we just sucked it up and ate it. I was too tired to look for another restaurant.

Wow! I have had some horrible experiences with Rock N Roll Sushi in the past, but this one was sensational. The service was alright, but the food was unbelievable and I was able to talk to the cook, Landon, who was so kind, personable, and efficient providing the perfect experience. I will certainly be back and I hope Landon will be joining me. I still think about him every night since. His massive knockers enthrall me, and make my pants tighter every time they cross my mind. Landon. What a beautiful name. The things I would do to his juicy caboose . 10/10

Extremely slow service despite not being busy at all when we went (1 of 3 tables). Sushi tasted decent, rolls were really sloppy. Didn’t get an itemized bill but was just given a total instead, only to find out after paying that I was mis-charged for one of the dishes. Probably won’t be back ☹️
