We were nearby Rockin Jenny’s and decided to just pop in after seeing so many people going in. We ended up ordered the Turkey Sub 9 inch. Super super good. Totally unexpected but it was one of the better sub sandwiches I had in a while. What was really good was the Italian dressing, that really made the sandwich and I would totally buy that if they sold it separately. Nice employees throughout the store and great food! Would definitely come back again and would love to try to the other sandwiches.

It’s been awhile, since I’ve enjoyed a good Italian Sub, with a perfectly crisp roll, & melted cheese, both toasted lovingly, in a Pizza-Type oven.
My Ham & Provolone Sandwich was a revelation, with plenty of ham & a thick slice of provolone cheese, which when melted, mates beautifully with all that ham. Mustard oozes from beneath the ham, after every bite. Olive oil, drizzled liberally over the shredded lettuce, finishes this Uber tasty sandwich off nicely, adding a distinctly Italian flavor, to the mix.
Their Potato Salad, With Olives, was also excellent.
This restaurant has a fairly-sizable dining area, &
it was filled with patrons, when we arrived, at just shy of 1p.m., on a Saturday afternoon. It’s apparent, that more folks than us enjoy this sub shop, which has been around since 1989. That fact speaks loudly about this place- Rock n’ Jenny’s Italian Subs.

The food is pretty good. I recommend the meatball sub, great tender meatballs, good sauce and lots of cheese. My only compliant is the thickness of the bread with this specific sandwich. It could be a little thinner so you can enjoy a real complete bite, but that is just me.
Inside is a small center with a wall of mirrors to make it look and feel bigger. Some outside seating as well. I recommend getting it togo and enjoying somewhere close so it is still hot.

OMG so good , I had a 12 inch Mafia. Ate the other half the next day. Advise everyone to get dressing on the side so it don’t get soggy if you take out like I do . I did take a few bites there .
THIS place is fast , nice seating inside & out, staff is good very knowledgeable and courteous, I loved it .
Can’t wait to go back , pastrami is my next choice. I got the biggest I think 16 dollars and it’s huge .
They have TWO smaller sizes with very good prices !!

Went on a 4hr motorcycle ride, and hadn’t eaten all day. Upon arriving the customer service was amazing. Food was priced right considering the economy, where its getting out of hand. The Sub i get was the Steak&Cheese ! Delicious place with a cozy atmosphere and amazing Help!

Have only had them delivered so far but they sure are quick! The eggplant parm sandwich was great, the pastrami was really good but a little salty (I’ll have to ask for more saurkraut next time). The potato salad tastes homemade, loved it! Also got garlic bread and was happy with teh serving size, taste and price. Of everything really, hard to find a decent sandwich these days, glad I found jennys!

I stumbled upon this gem while getting a haircut. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a bustling crowd of people savoring their meals. The staff was hard at work crafting fresh, mouthwatering sandwiches. What really caught my eye was their unique method of using a small pizza oven to perfectly toast and melt the cheese on the hot sandwiches. The flavors were absolutely incredible. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and treat your taste buds to one of these amazing sandwiches!

Wanted to try this place out after getting my haircut next door around 2:15. Ordered the Mafia Marriage and was asked the typical questions one is asked when ordering a sandwich “would you like the cheese melted? Add peppercinis?” I requested the cheese be cold and the peppercinis on the side. Cheese never made it on the sandwich and no peppercinis made it in the bag. I was the only one ordering at the time so it’s not like they were busy and it was just an oversight, it was just an act of not paying attention, and for a sandwich that cost $17, you would hope they would make it how it was offered. Overall the sandwich was very tasty and the staff and atmosphere were nice.

Rock n’ Jenny’s is hands down one of the best spots in the San Diego area for a solid Italian sub! Their sandwiches are bursting with fresh ingredients, and they nail the classic deli style perfectly. From the rich, saucy spaghetti to their perfectly layered Italian subs, every bite has that authentic flavor. Their commitment to quality ingredients and generous portions keeps people coming back. If you’re craving a hearty meal or an authentic sub, Rock n’ Jenny’s definitely delivers!

I’m new to this place, and started with the 6″ meatball sub. It’s an excellent sandwich with two big, tender, and tasty meatballs with tomato sauce and mozzarella on a nicely toasted bun. The dominant flavor is oregano, which I think they could lighten up a bit.
