Sceleton Krū performed at the pre-Halloween party tonight. As usual, Jeff and his staff were spot-on with their courtesy and service. The crowd was decent- rotating and mostly attentive. I can’t stress enough how great of a venue the Rock’n Horse Saloon is!

Karaoke Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Bands on Friday and Saturday. Full stage sounds system including sub woofers, floor monitors, hanging mounted speakers, and a drum set on stage, drink specials, pool tables, darts, TVs, power punch game, gas fire places on outside tables for fenced smoking/drinking area. Since they don’t typically serve food they allow outside food and there’s food establishments next door including a great Mexican taqueria. Owner is an awesome guy and very personable. Tries to make everyone feel welcome. Clientele seems to also be among the more friendly welcoming yet mature crowd of all adult ages. Easy to fit in.

I started coming to this bar as soon as I gained independence. I met the owner a couple of times. Before. Just here and there. I told him I had respect for his bar. Then he added me on Facebook. Apparently I offended him and he told me that I have to get right with God. He took it to heart. I gave him a $20 cash for $6 something dollar beer. He gave me back 3 dollars. Before that he tossed a disposable coaster at me. So I think my conclusions are valid and that he thought have had a chip on his shoulder towards me because some Facebook drama. I wanna say I even went there Probaly a small handful of times I’m guessing. I was respectful, I sat by myself alone. Minded my own business. I even asked him if I could talk to him outside about his beef with me. Because I didn’t want to make a scene inside. I didn’t get physical. This place is not getting my business again.

As a usual participant at the karaoke nights it seems to have gone downhill (excluding Wednesday night karaoke since it’s a different DJ; a nice young women {NOT miss Sammy}) MISS SAMMY has been closing the nights earlier and has been taking up most of the slots for her own performance which would be fine if there wasn’t patrons waiting to sing, she skips peoples songs without them knowing or giving them a chance to replace them (UNLIKE the nice Wednesday women) I have chosen to stop going to MISS SAMMYS NIGHTS…

Live band (Flashdrive from Visalia CA), Billiards, electronic dartboard and plenty of seating made for a wonderful time! They have 4 or 5 beers on tap (one IPA, rest domestic drafts) and the bartender had no issue with our orders! Clean, with an expansive dance floor and ceiling lighting make for a wonderful time!

I love this saloon! I went for my very first time to celebrate a band member’s bday. The atmosphere is chill and country feel which is what made me feel at home! People/staff were great and friendly! I had a great time dancing! The bathroom was clean and supplied.
I love establishments that have and support live music! Y’all will have a good ol’ time when you stop by for a cold one..or two,..or 3!

One Star Is Too Generous
If you’re looking for a place that combines overpriced garbage food, watered-down drinks, and an atmosphere that feels like a gas station bathroom had a nervous breakdown—congratulations, you’ve found it.
From the moment we walked in, it was clear the staff couldn’t care less. Our server acted like we’d personally insulted her by showing up. Eye rolls, snappy tone, and a complete inability to remember a drink order that had exactly *two* ingredients. Impressive.
The drinks? I’ve had stronger sips of mouthwash. My whiskey sour tasted like lemon-flavored sadness, and my friend’s margarita was basically just a glass of ice with regrets.
As for the food—calling it food is generous. The burger was somehow both burnt and raw, the fries were cold and soggy, and don’t even get me started on the “chicken tenders” that looked and tasted like deep-fried shoe leather.
And then there’s the atmosphere. Dim lighting in the wrong way, like they’re trying to hide how dirty everything is. Weird music choices. And a vibe that just screamed “get out.” We later found out the owners have a history of making openly racist comments, which honestly explained a lot about the hostile energy in the room. Disgusting.
Do yourself a favor—go literally anywhere else. I wouldn’t come back here if they paid me.
