Amazing food and service! Super fun atmosphere! Staff were friendly and attentive. Comfy chairs and booths. LOVE the Bollywood music and videos. Some of my favorite Indian food joints got white washed and did away with the music and colorful wall paper and stuff. That sucked. So I was really happy to dine in at Rock N Grill and enjoy the orange booths and wood accent wall. It was a very cozy atmosphere.
On to the food! BEST lamb tikka masala I have had in FOREVER. Super tender and flavorful. Just melt in your mouth REALLY GOOD potato samosas (not pictured because I scarfed them before I remembered to take a picture.) YALL, the DESSERTS here. They have a whole case of homemade desserts AND homemade lassi in any flavor you want- rose, chikoo, avocado, passion fruit and mango. Not a lot of places in the states offer passion fruit flavored stuff so I was super excited to see that offered! It was CREAMY and very tasty.
I like that Rock N Grill offers a variety of Indian food. I didn’t try the Dosas but I was pretty stoked to see them on the menu. Also, get the MASALA tea. Great flavor and just a super comforting warm drink.
Lastly, for those they want to know, this place is SUPER CLEAN. All around very enjoyable experience.

Had an excellent experience at Rock and Grill! I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani with medium spice level, and they got it perfectly right—exactly the balance I was hoping for. The flavor, aroma, and tenderness of the chicken were outstanding.
Big compliments to the kitchen and the staff for paying attention to customer preferences and delivering such quality food. The service was friendly and professional as well. Definitely coming back and highly recommended for biryani lovers!

The place was busy and loud when we arrived around 2PM on a Sunday. We were able to find a table still but it took a while to order as some of the other tables were taking over 5 minutes to place their orders. Food came relatively quickly after we were able to order and was hot and fresh (~15-20 minutes). We got chicken saag (medium) and butter masala lamb (mild) with an avocado milkshake and some plain naan. The meats were cooked perfect and very delicious. Both sauces were amazing. The butt masala might be the best I’ve ever had. The medium spicy was not too spicy (more like 2.5/3 stars out of 5). They serve the water in bottles. It’s been a long time since I found an avocado shake that tasted like avocado and not sugar/ice. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes (they have so much variety!)

Food comes fast, spicy and fresh. Garlic Cilantro naan is the best naan and the chilli gobi and chilli corn are so good and very spicy. The paneer was good, one other veg curry we ordered was just okay.
Taking one point off for the sticky floors and way too much spray in the bathrooms, it’s hard to breathe.

We have been here for dinein on 01/14/2026. Chicken Manchow soup is really great. Coming to starter We tried chicken lollipop (Wet) which is good with flavours of manchurian sauce. Main course comes with Goat fry piece biriyani which is damn good literally pieces and the flavour is tremendous!! Must try dessert Sizzling Brownie is so good!!

Food could’ve been better. Ordered a wide variety of dishes. Only Avakaya Annam was a hit. Vanjaram fish fry was salty, and goat chops weren’t cooked well. Juicy Mandi was sweet, so we skipped it. Ghee Karam Idly was good. Also tried Paneer Pakora, and it was okay.

WOW! Was way beyond expectations. Very clean. Excellent service. The food was exceptional! Portion sizes feed 2 for the price of one. I only took pictures of my Lamb Tandoori with Garlic Naan. The Chicken Curry was over the top delicious. I cannot recommend Rock-n-Grill enough.

We had the North Indian Thali, and it was absolutely mind-blowing! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced , honestly, I’ve never had such an amazing thali even in India.
A special mention to Maria, who served us with a beautiful smile and such a warm, welcoming attitude. She made our dining experience even more delightful , always cheerful and attentive to every detail.
The service overall was wonderful, showing true commitment and passion for what they do. Hats off to the entire team!
There’s also ample parking space, and the prices are very affordable, much less than most restaurants in Austin.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Indian food and great hospitality!

This is my second visit. Too Andhra style spicy. I ordered veg manchow , too too hot. So I exchanged with Mushroom soup. Chicken dum biryani was good. I recommend visiting here if you like South Indian Spicy food

This place gets very busy and does a lot of carryout orders. The staff was scrambling but did a great job. The food came out quick. I really enjoyed their chai and would go back just for that. Their menu is a novel. We ended up with chicken lollipops and chicken korma. We enjoyed their butter naan. The korma was very cinnamon forward. The chicken lollipops were a 8.5/10 for us. The medium had just the right level of spice. The house lemonades didnt have a lot of lemon flavor. We both preferred the mint version. We will definitely give them another go and try some other things. The biriyanis looked very popular.
